Frame your credentials around construction project delivery
Rosendin's Program Manager roles require demonstrable experience managing electrical or energy infrastructure programs, not just general project oversight. Organize your resume around program scope, budget ownership, and cross-functional team leadership on construction or utility-scale projects before you apply.
Target open requisitions tied to active energy programs
Rosendin consistently posts Program Manager openings across regions tied to live construction pipelines. Filter by location and project type to find roles attached to active energy or data center programs, where sponsorship decisions move faster because the hiring need is immediate.
Confirm your visa category matches the role's specialty occupation criteria
Program Manager positions at construction firms like Rosendin must qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS definitions, meaning a specific bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is typically required. Verify your degree field maps directly to the posted job requirements before engaging HR.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Rosendin Program Manager openings
Rosendin posts roles across multiple regions and they fill quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter Program Manager jobs at Rosendin Electric by visa type so you're applying to openings where sponsorship is already confirmed, not guessing from a generic job board listing.
Clarify OPT or TN authorization early in recruiter conversations
If you're on F-1 OPT, your 60-day unemployment clock creates real urgency for Rosendin's hiring team. Lead with your authorization end date and whether you have STEM OPT eligibility, so the recruiter can loop in HR on sponsorship timing from the first call rather than discovering the constraint at offer stage.
Understand that LCA filing precedes any H-1B transfer or new petition
Rosendin must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before any H-1B petition moves to USCIS. If you're transferring from another employer, your H-1B portability protections apply once Rosendin's petition is received by USCIS, not when it's approved, so don't wait to start the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Rosendin Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Rosendin Electric has sponsored H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. Sponsorship at this level typically depends on the candidate having a qualifying degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field that satisfies USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Your experience managing large-scale electrical or energy infrastructure programs strengthens the petition significantly.
Which visa types does Rosendin Electric support for Program Manager positions?
Rosendin Electric has worked with candidates on H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visa, and J-1 visas for professional roles including Program Manager positions. H-1B is the most common long-term path for this function. TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering or management categories. F-1 OPT gives recent graduates a bridge while a full sponsorship petition is filed.
What qualifications does Rosendin Electric expect for Program Manager roles?
Rosendin's Program Manager postings consistently require a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a closely related discipline, combined with experience overseeing multi-trade or electrical construction programs at scale. Familiarity with preconstruction processes, subcontractor coordination, and program-level budget management appears across most active postings. PMP certification is frequently listed as preferred but not always required.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Rosendin Electric?
Start by using Migrate Mate to browse Program Manager openings at Rosendin Electric filtered by visa sponsorship type so you're only reviewing roles where sponsorship is confirmed. Then apply directly through Rosendin's careers portal with a resume tailored to large-scale electrical or energy construction programs. Reference specific program types, dollar values, and team sizes to align with what Rosendin's hiring managers evaluate.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take if Rosendin Electric offers me a Program Manager role?
From offer to USCIS filing, the process typically takes six to twelve weeks, covering the DOL Labor Condition Application certification, which usually takes seven business days, plus petition preparation. Standard USCIS adjudication runs three to six months. Premium processing, which USCIS currently adjudicates within 15 business days, is available and commonly used when a start date is firm.
