Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Engineering Jobs at Rosendin Electric Jobs
Align Your Credentials to Electrical Construction Standards
Rosendin prioritizes engineers with credentials tied to electrical systems, power distribution, or construction project delivery. A Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward one signals you meet the technical bar for their project-based engineering roles.
Target Roles That Match Your Degree Field Exactly
H-1B eligibility hinges on your degree field matching the job's specialty occupation definition. For Rosendin's engineering openings, a degree in electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering directly supports the petition. A general engineering degree creates risk at adjudication.
Research Rosendin's Active Project Regions Before Applying
Rosendin staffs engineers regionally based on active construction contracts. Identify which offices or project sites have open engineering roles and tailor your application to that location, since worksite location affects the Labor Condition Application filing with DOL.
Browse Open Engineering Roles Through Migrate Mate
Rosendin's engineering openings are spread across multiple regions and project types. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Rosendin Electric engineering positions that align with your visa type, so you can apply to roles where sponsorship is a realistic outcome.
Clarify Sponsorship Intent Before the Offer Stage
Raise your visa status early in the interview process, not after an offer. Rosendin's HR team needs lead time to initiate LCA filing with DOL before USCIS can receive the I-129 petition, and surprises at the offer stage can delay or derail the process.
Account for Cap-Subject H-1B Lottery Timing in Your Planning
If you're not currently in H-1B status, your start date depends on the annual April lottery and an October 1 start. Plan your job search timeline backward from that deadline to ensure Rosendin can realistically file your petition during the registration window.

Find Engineering at Rosendin Electric JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Rosendin Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Rosendin Electric has sponsored H-1B visas for engineering roles. The company operates as a large electrical contractor with ongoing project-based hiring, which typically supports the specialty occupation requirement USCIS uses to evaluate H-1B petitions. Engineering roles tied to electrical construction, power systems, or project management are the most commonly sponsored functions.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Rosendin Electric?
Applications go through Rosendin's careers portal, where roles are listed by region and project type. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse Rosendin Electric engineering positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which helps you identify openings where international candidates are actively considered before you invest time in the application process.
Which visa types does Rosendin Electric commonly use for Engineering roles?
Rosendin Electric sponsors engineering candidates under H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT classifications. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering occupations under USMCA. F-1 OPT gives recent graduates a work authorization window to begin employment while a longer-term sponsorship pathway is arranged. J-1 status may also apply in training or exchange contexts.
What qualifications does Rosendin Electric expect for sponsored Engineering positions?
Rosendin's engineering roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, civil, mechanical, or a closely related engineering field. For H-1B eligibility, the degree must directly relate to the duties of the specific role. Project experience in electrical construction, power delivery, or large-scale infrastructure is a practical differentiator, and progress toward a PE license strengthens your candidacy for senior positions.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at Rosendin Electric?
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS opens registration in March and the earliest employment start date for cap-subject petitions is October 1. That means you should target a Rosendin offer by February to give the company time to prepare your Labor Condition Application with DOL and file before the registration deadline. F-1 OPT holders can start sooner if their authorization period covers the gap.
