Verify your credentials meet Oklahoma licensure requirements
Oklahoma requires state-specific licensure for most clinical roles. Before applying, confirm your foreign credentials have been evaluated by a NACES-approved service and that your license is transferable or obtainable in Oklahoma, since sponsorship timelines depend on it.
Target roles with documented specialty shortages
Saint Francis Health System consistently fills positions in high-demand specialties like radiology, pharmacy, and surgical nursing. Roles tied to documented shortages are more likely to move through PERM labor certification faster, since employers face fewer recruitment obstacles.
Align your application timing with H-1B cap deadlines
If you need a cap-subject H-1B, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start. Healthcare roles often require clinical onboarding and credentialing lead time, so factor that into your offer negotiation and proposed start date.
Request an immigration policy conversation during the offer stage
Ask directly whether Saint Francis works with a designated immigration attorney and which fees they cover. Some health systems cover filing fees under a formal sponsorship policy; others split costs. Getting this in writing before signing protects you if the process extends beyond a single visa cycle.

Find Healthcare at Saint Francis Health System JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Saint Francis Health System sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Yes, Saint Francis Health System sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Healthcare roles. Eligible positions must meet the USCIS specialty occupation standard, which requires a relevant bachelor's degree or higher as a minimum entry requirement. Clinical and allied health roles in areas like pharmacy, imaging, and specialized nursing commonly satisfy this threshold. Confirm role eligibility with their HR team before accepting an offer.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at Saint Francis Health System?
Applications go through Saint Francis Health System's careers portal. Browse open Healthcare roles on Migrate Mate to identify positions with active sponsorship histories, then apply directly through the employer's site. Tailor your application to highlight licensure status, clinical specialization, and any existing U.S. work authorization so recruiters can quickly assess your visa pathway alongside your clinical fit.
Which visa types does Saint Francis Health System use for Healthcare roles?
Saint Francis Health System sponsors several visa categories for Healthcare positions, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, and Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications. The right category depends on your nationality, degree level, and role type. TN and E-3 routes tend to move faster since they're not subject to the annual H-1B lottery.
What qualifications does Saint Francis Health System expect for Healthcare roles?
Requirements vary by role, but most clinical positions expect a relevant degree from an accredited institution, current state licensure in Oklahoma, and in many cases, active certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or specialty board credentials. For international candidates, a foreign credential evaluation from a NACES-recognized service is typically required before licensure can be confirmed. Roles in specialized units often expect prior experience in that clinical environment.
How long does the sponsorship process take for Healthcare roles at Saint Francis?
Timeline depends heavily on the visa category. F-1 OPT authorization can begin within weeks of an offer. H-1B sponsorship through the cap lottery means waiting until October 1 of the filing year at the earliest. Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification typically takes one to two years before the immigrant petition stage. Starting conversations with HR about your visa category early in the interview process helps you plan realistically.
