Verify Your Credentials Before Applying
NCLEX licensure and a CGFNS or ISEAP credential evaluation are prerequisites for any sponsored RN role at Saint Francis. Get these in hand before outreach so your application clears the first screening without delays.
Target Units With Chronic Staffing Pressure
Saint Francis consistently posts openings in critical care, med-surg, and emergency nursing. Focusing your application on these high-demand units improves your odds of reaching a hiring manager who actively wants to move a candidate through sponsorship.
Ask HR About the PERM Process Early
If your goal is permanent residence, ask during the offer stage whether Saint Francis initiates PERM before or after you start. Some health systems wait until year two. Clarifying this upfront shapes your long-term planning and prevents a stressful conversation later.

Find Registered Nurse at Saint Francis Health System JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Saint Francis Health System sponsor H-1B visas for Registered Nurses?
Yes, Saint Francis Health System sponsors H-1B visas for Registered Nurses. Because H-1B is subject to the annual cap and October 1 start date, your employer must file the petition by April of the year you intend to start. Nursing qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria, and Saint Francis has experience navigating this process for clinical hires.
How do I apply for Registered Nurse jobs at Saint Francis Health System?
You can search and apply for Registered Nurse openings directly through Saint Francis Health System's careers portal. To find roles already filtered for visa sponsorship eligibility, browse listings on Migrate Mate, which surfaces Saint Francis RN positions alongside sponsorship details. Either path leads to the same application, but Migrate Mate saves time if sponsorship is your primary filter.
Which visa types does Saint Francis Health System use to sponsor Registered Nurses?
Saint Francis sponsors Registered Nurses across several categories: H-1B for most international nurses, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT or CPT for nursing graduates still in authorized training status. For longer-term hires, the health system also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does Saint Francis Health System expect for sponsored RN roles?
Saint Francis expects candidates to hold an active RN license in Oklahoma or eligibility for licensure by endorsement. International nurses must have passed the NCLEX and hold a credential evaluation from a recognized body such as CGFNS. Clinical experience in a hospital setting is strongly preferred, and units like ICU or emergency nursing may require one to two years of specialized experience.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process take for Registered Nurses at Saint Francis?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. H-1B sponsorship is tied to the April lottery and an October 1 start, meaning the full cycle from offer to start date can run six months or longer. E-3 and TN visas can move faster, often within four to eight weeks of an approved LCA. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship typically takes one to three years from initiation.
