- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration – will consider other degrees with medical leadership experience
- At least 2-4 years in a leadership or supervisory role:
- Budget and cost control
- Productivity metrics and performance improvement
- Understanding service line profitability
- Staff management
- Physician relations and collaboration
- Multi-site or regional operational oversight
- Strategic thinking
- Specialty clinics background
- Familiarity with:
- Clinical workflows in the medical practice
- DNV, RHC and HOPD standards
- Patient throughput, access and care coordination
- Revenue cycle basics (billing, coding, reimbursement)
