Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Healthcare Assistant Jobs at PeaceHealth Jobs
Align Your Credentials Before Applying
PeaceHealth Healthcare Assistant roles often require state-recognized certifications like a Certified Nursing Assistant credential. Confirm your credential is valid in the specific state where the position is posted before submitting your application.
Target Facilities With Consistent International Hiring
PeaceHealth operates hospitals and clinics across Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Facilities in markets with tighter local labor supply tend to run open Healthcare Assistant requisitions longer, which correlates with greater openness to sponsorship.
Search Open Roles Using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter PeaceHealth Healthcare Assistant openings by visa type and location, so you're only spending time on roles where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than guessing from a generic jobs board.
Understand TN Eligibility If You Hold Canadian or Mexican Citizenship
Healthcare Assistant roles that map to qualifying occupations under the USMCA can support a TN visa without a USCIS petition or lottery. Confirm the job description aligns with a recognized TN occupation category before counting on this pathway.

Find Healthcare Assistant at PeaceHealth JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does PeaceHealth sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcare Assistants?
Yes, PeaceHealth has a track record of H-1B sponsorship for healthcare support roles including Healthcare Assistants. H-1B sponsorship requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, so the specific job requirements and your educational background will be reviewed during the offer process. Reach out to the recruiter early to confirm H-1B eligibility for the specific opening you're targeting.
How do I apply for Healthcare Assistant jobs at PeaceHealth?
Applications go through PeaceHealth's careers portal, where you can filter by role and location. Before applying, confirm the posting includes sponsorship language or follow up directly with the recruiting team. Migrate Mate lists verified PeaceHealth Healthcare Assistant openings filtered by visa type, which saves time identifying roles where sponsorship is already on the table.
Which visa types does PeaceHealth commonly use for Healthcare Assistant roles?
PeaceHealth has sponsored workers under H-1B, TN, J-1, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. For Healthcare Assistant positions specifically, TN is a practical option for Canadian and Mexican nationals, while H-1B and EB-3 are more common pathways for other international applicants depending on the role's degree requirements.
What qualifications does PeaceHealth expect for Healthcare Assistant roles?
Most Healthcare Assistant postings at PeaceHealth require a current Certified Nursing Assistant certification valid in the state of employment, along with Basic Life Support certification. Some roles in specialty units expect prior acute care or clinical experience. Degree requirements vary by position level, but a relevant associate's or bachelor's degree can strengthen your H-1B or EB-3 petition if the role qualifies.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process typically take at PeaceHealth?
From offer acceptance to visa approval, timelines depend heavily on your visa type. H-1B cap-subject filings follow USCIS's annual lottery cycle with an October 1 start date, while cap-exempt or TN filings can move faster. J-1 and OPT authorizations are tied to your program sponsor and SEVIS record. Budget at least three to six months from offer to start date for sponsored roles.
