Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Healthcare Assistant Jobs at Banner Health Jobs
Certify Your Clinical Credentials Before Applying
Banner Health expects Healthcare Assistants to hold state-recognized certifications like a CNA or BLS before interviewing. Get your credentials verified through the relevant state nursing board so sponsorship conversations start on solid ground.
Target Banner's High-Volume Hiring Locations
Banner operates large hospital campuses in Arizona and Colorado that consistently post Healthcare Assistant openings. Focusing applications on those high-demand sites improves your odds of landing a role where sponsorship infrastructure is already in place.
Ask Recruiters About Their Internal Immigration Team
Banner Health manages sponsorship through an in-house HR and legal process rather than outsourcing entirely. Ask your recruiter directly whether the specific unit you're applying to has filed H-1B petitions for this role before.
Confirm PERM Requirements Early for EB-2 or EB-3 Paths
Banner sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for clinical roles, which require a DOL PERM labor certification. Ask HR during the offer stage whether they'll initiate PERM, since the process can take 18 months or longer before USCIS even reviews your petition.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified Sponsoring Roles
Finding Healthcare Assistant roles that explicitly include sponsorship saves weeks of back-and-forth. Search Banner Health on Migrate Mate to browse current openings filtered by visa sponsorship type before reaching out to recruiters.

Find Healthcare Assistant at Banner Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Banner Health sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcare Assistants?
Yes, Banner Health sponsors H-1B visas for Healthcare Assistants, though sponsorship is role- and location-specific rather than automatic across every posting. Your best approach is to confirm sponsorship availability with the recruiter during the initial screening call, before investing time in the full interview process.
How do I apply for Healthcare Assistant jobs at Banner Health?
Apply directly through Banner Health's careers portal, where you can filter by location and job category. You can also browse current Healthcare Assistant openings at Banner that include visa sponsorship through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles where sponsorship has been confirmed. Tailor your application to the specific unit or service line you're targeting.
Which visa types does Banner Health commonly sponsor for Healthcare Assistant roles?
Banner Health primarily sponsors H-1B visas for nonimmigrant work authorization and supports EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways for longer-term immigration. Healthcare Assistants in clinical settings often benefit from EB-3 sponsorship given the role's educational and training requirements, though eligibility depends on your specific qualifications and the position classification.
What qualifications does Banner Health expect for Healthcare Assistant candidates seeking sponsorship?
Banner Health typically requires a current Certified Nursing Assistant credential, Basic Life Support certification, and relevant clinical experience in an acute care or outpatient setting. For sponsored candidates, your degree and certifications may need to meet USCIS specialty occupation standards, so a degree in a health-related field strengthens your petition significantly.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process take at Banner Health?
From offer letter to visa approval, the process often spans several months. The H-1B filing window is fixed by USCIS, with cap-subject petitions submitted in April for an October 1 start date. If Banner initiates an EB-3 PERM process, plan for 18 to 30 months before your Green Card petition clears the DOL and USCIS review stages.
