Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Registered Nurse Jobs at Banner Health Jobs
Get Your NCLEX and Credentials Verified Early
Banner Health expects active U.S. RN licensure before extending an offer. Start your NCLEX application and CGFNS credential evaluation in parallel, not sequentially. Delays here are the most common reason international nurses lose offers.
Target High-Demand Units Across Banner Facilities
Banner Health's ICU, telemetry, and med-surg units carry the most open headcount across its Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming facilities. Applying to high-volume units increases your chances of finding a hiring manager with active sponsorship budget and urgency.
Understand How PERM Affects Your Long-Term Timeline
Banner Health sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Registered Nurses, but PERM labor certification adds 12 to 24 months before USCIS even begins adjudicating your immigrant petition. Factor this into your planning if your current status has a fixed end date.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified Banner Health RN Openings
Sponsored nursing roles at Banner Health aren't always labeled clearly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to find Registered Nurse positions at Banner Health confirmed to support visa sponsorship, so you're applying to roles where the pathway already exists.
Prepare Your Clinical Documentation for Credentialing Before Day One
Banner Health runs its own internal credentialing review after hire. Have your nursing school transcripts, clinical hours log, and previous employer verification letters ready before your start date to avoid delays in receiving hospital privileges.

Find Registered Nurse at Banner Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Banner Health sponsor H-1B visas for Registered Nurses?
Yes, Banner Health sponsors H-1B visas for Registered Nurses. Because nursing roles qualify as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree in nursing, they meet USCIS eligibility criteria for the H-1B. If you're currently on OPT or another temporary status, Banner Health can file a cap-subject H-1B petition in April for an October 1 start date, subject to lottery selection.
How do I apply for Registered Nurse jobs at Banner Health?
Applications go through Banner Health's careers portal at bannerhealth.com. Filter by location, unit type, and full-time status to find openings that match your clinical background. Before applying, confirm your NCLEX license is active in the state where the role is posted, as Banner Health requires U.S. licensure as a baseline condition of any offer. Migrate Mate also lists Banner Health RN roles filtered for visa sponsorship eligibility.
Which visa types does Banner Health commonly use to sponsor Registered Nurses?
Banner Health uses both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa pathways for Registered Nurses. H-1B is the primary nonimmigrant route for nurses with a BSN. On the immigrant side, Banner Health sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through PERM labor certification, which requires the DOL to certify that no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role before the petition proceeds to USCIS.
What qualifications does Banner Health expect from internationally trained Registered Nurses?
Banner Health requires active RN licensure in the relevant U.S. state, which means passing the NCLEX-RN. For internationally trained nurses, a CGFNS credential evaluation is typically required to confirm your nursing education meets U.S. equivalency standards. Most units also expect one to two years of acute care experience in a relevant clinical setting, with ICU, telemetry, and med-surg backgrounds most commonly requested.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Registered Nurse at Banner Health?
Timeline depends on the visa pathway. An H-1B petition filed in April has an October 1 start date, assuming lottery selection, which is approximately six months from filing. An EB-3 Green Card through PERM can take two to four years or longer depending on your country of birth and USCIS processing times. USCIS premium processing is available for H-1B adjudication and reduces approval decisions to 15 business days for an additional fee.
