Frame your PM credentials around delivery outcomes
Slalom's Program Manager roles are client-facing and delivery-heavy. When assembling your resume and portfolio, lead with measurable project outcomes, cross-functional stakeholder management, and methodology experience like Agile or SAFe rather than internal process ownership.
Target Slalom's market-specific hiring pipelines
Slalom staffs Program Managers through local market offices rather than a single national hiring pool. Applying directly to the market where you're located or willing to work speeds up recruiter response and aligns your application with active client demand.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
Slalom sponsors multiple visa types for this role. During early recruiter conversations, confirm whether your situation calls for H-1B, E-3, or TN sponsorship so the right legal pathway is scoped before offer letters are drafted and timelines become critical.
Align your start date with H-1B cap timing
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS only accepts cap-subject petitions for an October 1 start date. Structure your job search so you're interviewing in the fall or winter, leaving enough lead time for Slalom's legal team to file during the March registration window.
Prepare your F-1 OPT bridge documentation early
If you're on F-1 OPT and counting on a cap-gap extension to cover the gap between OPT expiration and an October 1 H-1B start, confirm your OPT end date and have your I-20 history ready. Slalom's HR team will need this to coordinate USCIS filing correctly.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Program Manager roles
Slalom posts Program Manager openings across multiple markets simultaneously, making it easy to miss relevant roles. Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by visa sponsorship type so you're only reviewing roles where your specific visa category is supported.

Find Program Manager at Slalom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. Because this position typically meets the specialty occupation standard through its requirements for project management expertise, business analysis, or technology delivery credentials, it's a commonly supported pathway. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, confirm your timeline with the recruiting team well before the March registration window.
Which visa types does Slalom commonly sponsor for Program Managers?
Slalom sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for Program Manager roles, along with immigrant pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term employees. Australian citizens are strong candidates for the E-3, which has no lottery and can be processed at a U.S. consulate. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under TN if the role maps to an eligible USMCA occupation category.
What qualifications does Slalom expect for a sponsored Program Manager role?
Slalom's Program Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or a related field, combined with hands-on program or project delivery experience in a consulting or client-services environment. Certifications like PMP or SAFe strengthen your application. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree and experience must align with the specific field of the role to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Slalom?
Apply through Slalom's careers site, targeting the specific market office where you want to work since hiring is managed locally. For a faster way to find roles where your visa type is already supported, browse Program Manager openings at Slalom on Migrate Mate, which filters positions by sponsorship category so you're not wasting applications on roles that won't support your situation.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing sponsorship through Slalom?
Timeline depends on your visa type. E-3 and TN sponsorship can move quickly, often within a few weeks of an offer, since neither is subject to an annual cap or lottery. H-1B sponsorship requires USCIS registration in March for an October 1 start date, so you need an offer in place well before then. Build in extra lead time for PERM-based Green Card processing, which runs independently of your nonimmigrant status and can take one to several years depending on your country of birth.
