- Guide and review analytical work across projects, raising the bar on rigor, clarity, and strategic thinking
- Partner with Product, Consumer Research, Data Science, and Finance to translate insights into clear, actionable strategies
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in growth and strategy, ideally within technology, subscriptions, media or publishing

Frame your experience around revenue retention
Spotify's Customer Success roles are tied to label and artist partnerships, not just support tickets. Quantify churn prevention, upsell outcomes, or renewal rates in your resume so hiring managers can map your background directly to their business model.
Target roles that sit under Partnership or Artist teams
Spotify structures Customer Success closer to business development than traditional support. Search for titles like Partner Success Manager or Artist Services when scanning open roles. These are more likely to carry sponsorship budget than generalist support positions.
Understand which visa type fits your timeline
Spotify sponsors both H-1B and employment-based Green Cards. If you're already in the U.S. on OPT, the H-1B cap deadline in April is your critical milestone. If your OPT expires before October 1, ask your recruiter early about cap-gap coverage eligibility.
Get your specialty occupation framing right
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations needing a specific bachelor's degree field. For Customer Success at a music platform, a degree in business, communications, or music industry studies can support the petition if your job duties align precisely.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filter by Customer Success roles at companies with confirmed H-1B sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces Spotify's open roles alongside its sponsorship track record, so you're applying with context, not guessing whether sponsorship is on the table.
Negotiate the offer before immigration timelines diverge
Once Spotify extends an offer, ask directly whether they use premium processing with USCIS. Standard H-1B adjudication can take four to six months. Knowing their filing approach helps you plan your start date and avoid gaps in work authorization.

Does Spotify sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Success?
Yes, Spotify sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Success roles. The company has a documented history of filing H-1B petitions for positions in this function, particularly for roles tied to label partnerships, artist services, and brand accounts. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every opening, so it's worth confirming with the recruiter during initial screening.
How do I apply for Customer Success jobs at Spotify?
Applications go through Spotify's careers portal at jobs.spotify.com. You can also find verified Customer Success openings at Spotify filtered by sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. Tailor your application to the specific partner segment the role serves, whether that's labels, distributors, or advertising clients, since Spotify's Customer Success teams are segmented by business line.
Which visa types does Spotify use for Customer Success hires?
Spotify primarily uses H-1B visas for skilled international hires in Customer Success. For longer-term employees, the company also sponsors employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories, which typically require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. The right pathway depends on your education level, current status, and how long you've been with the company.
What qualifications does Spotify look for in Customer Success candidates?
Spotify's Customer Success roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, communications, music business, or a related field. Beyond credentials, the company values experience managing complex B2B relationships, ideally within music, media, or entertainment. Familiarity with streaming analytics, digital distribution, or the label ecosystem is a meaningful differentiator when competing for roles on the artist and label services side.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Spotify to sponsor my H-1B?
If you're targeting an H-1B through Spotify, the annual cap registration window opens in March. Spotify must register you in the lottery before April 1 for a potential October 1 start date. That means your offer ideally needs to be in place by February or early March. If you're on OPT, confirm your expiration date against this calendar early in the interview process to avoid authorization gaps.
