Align your certifications to Synechron's stack
Synechron's cloud work skews toward AWS, Azure, and GCP implementations for financial services clients. Holding an active certification in at least one of these platforms signals job-readiness and gives recruiters a concrete qualifier to move your application forward.
Target roles with infrastructure or DevOps scope
Cloud Engineer postings at Synechron often blend IaC tooling, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline work. Filtering for these keywords in job titles narrows your search to roles where your skills map tightly to what the hiring team is actually evaluating.
Browse open Cloud Engineer roles on Migrate Mate
Synechron's active Cloud Engineer openings that include visa sponsorship are listed on Migrate Mate. Filtering by role and visa type shows you which positions are currently accepting sponsored candidates, so you're not guessing from a generic careers page.
Understand how TN status applies to your role
Canadian and Mexican nationals in cloud engineering roles may qualify for TN status under the Computer Systems Analyst category. Confirm with Synechron's HR team that your specific job description meets DOL's TN classification criteria before assuming eligibility.
Ask about PERM sponsorship timelines during the offer stage
For Green Card pathways via EB-2 or EB-3, PERM labor certification is employer-initiated and can take a year or more. Raise this during negotiations, not after you've signed, so you understand when Synechron typically begins the process for sponsored Cloud Engineers.

Does Synechron sponsor H-1B visas for Cloud Engineers?
Yes, Synechron sponsors H-1B visas for Cloud Engineer roles. The company has a consistent record of filing H-1B petitions for technology positions, including cloud infrastructure and DevOps functions. If you're currently on OPT or an existing H-1B, Synechron can file a cap-subject petition or initiate a transfer depending on your situation. Confirm your specific timeline with the recruiter early in the process.
How do I apply for Cloud Engineer jobs at Synechron?
You can find and apply for Cloud Engineer roles at Synechron through Migrate Mate, which lists their open positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific cloud platforms and tools mentioned in the job description. Synechron's recruiting process typically includes a technical screen followed by one or more structured interviews focused on infrastructure, automation, and client delivery experience.
Which visa types does Synechron commonly use for Cloud Engineer hires?
Synechron sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT visas for Cloud Engineer roles, and also supports Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications. H-1B is the most common route for long-term sponsorship. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose roles qualify under the Computer Systems Analyst category as defined by USCIS and DOL guidelines.
What qualifications does Synechron expect for Cloud Engineer roles?
Synechron generally expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field, which also satisfies the specialty occupation requirement for H-1B petitions. Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform is expected, along with familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible. Financial services domain knowledge is a differentiator given the nature of Synechron's client base.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining Synechron as a Cloud Engineer?
If you're entering on a new H-1B, the cap-subject petition must be filed in April for an October 1 start date, so your offer timeline needs to account for that window. OPT and CPT authorizations can support earlier start dates while the H-1B is pending. For Green Card sponsorship through PERM, the process typically spans one to several years depending on your country of birth and priority date, and is initiated by Synechron after a qualifying period of employment.
