Align your HR credentials to financial services
TD Securities prioritizes HR managers with experience in regulated financial environments. Before applying, document any exposure to compensation structures, securities licensing compliance, or workforce planning in banking or asset management contexts to strengthen your profile.
Research TD Securities' PERM and LCA history
DOL's OFLC disclosure database lists certified Labor Condition Applications by employer and job title. Searching for TD Securities' HR filings shows you which locations and seniority levels have historically moved through sponsorship, helping you target the right roles.
Position yourself for E-3 if you hold Australian citizenship
Australian citizens applying for HR Manager roles can pursue the E-3 visa, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. TD Securities sponsors E-3 petitions for qualifying professional roles, so confirm your citizenship status is visible on your application from the start.
Address sponsorship directly in your cover letter
Investment banks screen HR candidates for budget and compliance implications early. State your visa type, current authorization status, and whether you need H-1B or E-3 sponsorship upfront rather than waiting for a recruiter to ask during the offer stage.
Browse open HR roles using Migrate Mate
TD Securities posts Human Resources Manager openings across multiple locations with varying sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track those roles by visa type so you're applying to positions where sponsorship has already been confirmed as available.
Build timeline around H-1B cap and USCIS processing
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. Align your TD Securities interview process to reach the offer stage before February so your employer has enough lead time to file on your behalf.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does TD Securities sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources Managers?
Yes, TD Securities sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources Manager roles. The firm operates as a large financial services employer with established immigration infrastructure, meaning HR sponsorship cases are processed through experienced in-house or external counsel. You'll want to confirm sponsorship availability for the specific posting you're applying to, as it can vary by location and seniority level.
How do I apply for Human Resources Manager jobs at TD Securities?
Applications go through TD Securities' careers portal, where HR Manager roles are listed by location and business unit. You can also use Migrate Mate to identify and track TD Securities HR openings that are flagged for visa sponsorship. Tailor your resume to reflect experience in regulated financial services environments, since generic HR backgrounds are less competitive for roles at investment banks.
Which visa types does TD Securities commonly use for Human Resources Manager roles?
TD Securities sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, and employment-based Green Cards (EB-2 and EB-3) for qualifying HR professionals. H-1B is the most commonly used pathway for skilled professionals not covered by a treaty agreement. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3 visa, which avoids the lottery. Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically follows several years of employment in the role.
What qualifications and experience does TD Securities expect for Human Resources Manager roles?
TD Securities generally expects HR Manager candidates to hold a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, with several years of progressive HR experience in financial services or a comparable regulated industry. Familiarity with compensation structures, employment law in financial contexts, and talent management within large organizations is commonly required. SHRM or HRCI certification strengthens your candidacy.
What does the sponsorship timeline look like for an H-1B at TD Securities?
If you're pursuing H-1B sponsorship, USCIS opens registration in March for a cap-subject petition with an October 1 start date. You'll need to reach the offer stage early enough for TD Securities to register you before the March deadline. Premium processing is available to accelerate USCIS adjudication to 15 business days once the petition is filed, which most large financial employers use to reduce uncertainty.
