WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time 40 hrs./ week. On-Call requirements 10 hour shift, 630A-5 PM
Neuro Special Procedure Department Highlights
- Newly built second Hybrid Neuro room
- Schedule is Monday through Friday.
- On-Call is required with 30-minute response arrival to hospital time
- Cross training into H&V Departments if desired
- Be a part of a respected comprehensive stroke team providing exceptional patient care and saving lives.
- Gain knowledge of cerebral and vascular anatomy and interventions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
- Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
- One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
- RN—Registered Nurse or Completion of an RN Residency program required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support - Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterly—required
- ACLS - Advance Cardiac Life Support - within 90 days required
- PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - within in 90 days required
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs.
- The professional nurse demonstrates an appreciation of unique meanings by: active listening and exemplifying a non-judgmental attitude
- The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient’s affiliations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
