This is not a project manager role that is tracking down commitments and monitoring tickets. This person will develop critical processes, drive the definition of complex projects, and help coordinate multiple teams to deliver on critical programs. You will sit at the intersection of Hardware, Firmware, Streaming, and Computer Vision, ensuring that as we evolve the products that we do so in a coordinated manner. - Hardware-Software Synchronization: You will align hardware milestones (EVT, DVT, PVT) with firmware releases to ensure silicon bring-up and module integration are seamless. You will identify critical path dependencies—such as ISP tuning, driver development, and sensor calibration—and proactively mitigate risks before they impact the build schedule.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, data-driven visibility into program health. You’ll translate technical firmware blockers into actionable business risks for executive leadership.

Align your PM credentials to hardware-software
Verkada's Program Managers sit at the intersection of firmware, cloud infrastructure, and physical hardware. Frame your resume around cross-functional technical programs, not just process management, so your background maps cleanly to their product org.
Confirm LCA filing before accepting offer
Before signing, verify the employer has filed a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL for your specific location and role level. An LCA is required before any H-1B petition can be submitted, and the prevailing wage listed must match your offered salary.
Target roles with clear engineering dependencies
Verkada's open Program Manager positions often require coordination across firmware, cloud, and go-to-market teams. Roles tied to specific engineering workstreams are stronger sponsorship candidates because the specialty occupation case is easier to build for USCIS.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship roles
Search Program Manager openings at Verkada filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate. You can confirm which roles have active sponsorship history before investing time in a full application and interview cycle.
Request cap-exempt or concurrent filing options early
If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT and your H-1B wasn't selected in the lottery, ask your recruiter whether Verkada can support TN status or a cap-exempt institution transfer to bridge your authorization while you wait for the next registration window.
Document program scope for EB-2 or EB-3 PERM
If Verkada initiates a Green Card process for your role, PERM requires demonstrating that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Keep records of your program deliverables and any specialized technical scope that distinguishes the role from a general management position.

Does Verkada sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Verkada sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company has a consistent pattern of filing H-1B petitions for technical program management positions, particularly those with clear ties to engineering or product functions. If you're in the H-1B lottery cycle, confirm with your recruiter early in the process so petitions can be filed before the April 1 start date.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Verkada?
Applications go through Verkada's careers portal. Most Program Manager roles require a resume that reflects cross-functional technical program ownership, not just coordination. Prepare to discuss how you've driven alignment between engineering, product, and go-to-market teams. You can browse open roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate before applying directly.
Which visa types does Verkada sponsor for Program Managers?
Verkada sponsors H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Program Manager roles, and has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-tenured employees. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations. F-1 OPT gives you up to 12 months of work authorization post-graduation, with a 24-month STEM extension if your degree qualifies.
What qualifications does Verkada expect for Program Manager roles?
Verkada's Program Manager postings consistently emphasize technical fluency alongside program management skills. Expect requirements around experience driving hardware or software programs end-to-end, cross-functional stakeholder management, and familiarity with Agile or similar frameworks. A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field typically anchors the specialty occupation basis needed for H-1B sponsorship.
How do I time my application around H-1B sponsorship deadlines?
H-1B registration opens in early March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, you need your registration selected and petition approved before your OPT expires. Starting your job search at Verkada by January gives you enough runway to complete interviews, receive an offer, and have your employer file before the USCIS registration window closes.
