Frame your credentials around consulting operations
Westwood evaluates Business Manager candidates on client-facing operational experience, not just management titles. Align your resume to show P&L ownership, workflow optimization, or vendor coordination within a professional services or consulting environment before you apply.
Confirm TN eligibility before targeting this role
Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status if the Business Manager role maps to an eligible USMCA occupation. Verify that your offer letter describes duties DOL recognizes under a qualifying category, since a broad title alone won't satisfy the classification.
Ask about LCA status during the offer stage
Before accepting an offer, confirm your employer has filed or is ready to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL. For H-1B transfers, your start date depends on LCA certification, and delays here directly affect when you can begin working.
Target open Business Manager roles through Migrate Mate
Westwood Professional Services posts Business Manager openings across multiple locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles where visa sponsorship is confirmed, so you're not spending time on postings that won't support your immigration status.
Prepare a degree equivalency brief for non-U.S. credentials
USCIS requires H-1B specialty occupation petitions to establish that your degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's in a relevant field. If your degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved service before your employer files the I-129.

Find Business Manager at Westwood Professional Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Westwood Professional Services sponsor H-1B visas for Business Managers?
Yes, Westwood Professional Services sponsors H-1B visas for Business Manager roles. The company has a documented sponsorship history for this function across its consulting operations. If you're on an existing H-1B with another employer, Westwood can file an H-1B transfer, which lets you begin working as soon as USCIS receives the petition without waiting for full approval.
How do I apply for Business Manager jobs at Westwood Professional Services?
You can browse and apply for Business Manager openings at Westwood Professional Services directly through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles with confirmed visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your materials to highlight operational management experience in consulting or professional services environments, since Westwood evaluates candidates on client delivery and process ownership, not just seniority.
Which visa types does Westwood Professional Services commonly use for Business Manager hires?
Westwood Professional Services sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Business Manager roles. H-1B is the most common long-term route. TN is available to qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals. F-1 OPT and CPT allow students already in the U.S. to start in the role while H-1B sponsorship is arranged.
What qualifications does Westwood Professional Services expect from Business Manager candidates?
Westwood typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or a related field, combined with experience managing client accounts, budgets, or operational workflows in a professional services context. H-1B eligibility also requires that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning the degree requirement must be specific to the position, not a general preference.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Business Manager role at Westwood?
Timelines vary by visa type. H-1B standard processing runs three to five months after USCIS accepts the petition. Premium processing reduces that to 15 business days. TN status for Canadians can be obtained at a port of entry on the same day as the job offer. For EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, the PERM labor certification stage alone can take 12 months or more before USCIS petition filing begins.
