ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Emory University is seeking a Parking Compliance Associate I for the shift of Monday - Friday; 10am - 7pm.
- With a service oriented demeanor, patrols campus and ensures vehicles, including bicycles and scooters, are parked in compliance with campus parking rules and regulations.
- Interprets regulations and makes decisions on violation applicability.
- Enters data into computer systems, handheld, or mobile devices to issue citations.
- Utilizes parking management system to review citation and/or vehicle history.
- Educates campus community and visitors on rules and regulations.
- Assists visitors with information on campus locations and directions.
- Provides support to University events, including traffic coordination and transportation.
- Observes, analyzes, and reports the need for directional and regulatory signage.
- Aids motorists in need of assistance.
- Observes, detects, and reports suspicious activities.
- Provides written reports, as necessary.
- May provide backup coverage for dispatch, including radio operations and customer service.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in parking or customer service, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Positions within this classification require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
- Positions within this classification are required to lift up to 50 lbs and bend, stoop and twist.
NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
