In this role, you will oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on scope, on schedule, and within budget. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering exposure to federal infrastructure projects and the ability to support critical government operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction and renovation projects from planning through occupancy
- Develop scopes of work, budgets, and project schedules
- Track milestones, timelines, and project performance
- Review designs, construction progress, and contractor deliverables
- Support procurement activities alongside contracting teams
- Monitor project costs, invoices, and overall financial performance
- Perform on-site inspections and oversee construction activities
- Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and government stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and regulations
- Additional duties as assigned
- Travel may be required
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 5–10+ years of experience managing construction or design projects
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and scopes
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to travel
Preferred
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience supporting federal or government construction projects
- Familiarity with cost estimating and project planning tools
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders Security Clearance Requirement
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
