Work you'll do/Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, you will perform test automation and quality engineering initiatives for a healthcare insurance enterprise. Scope covers functional, cross-browser UI, and backend/database validation across the SDLC, including batch processing flows and backend data validation. Objective is to establish scalable, maintainable automation coverage (Selenium/Playwright, Page Object Model) integrated into CI/CD to support reliable, repeatable release validation for a healthcare industry client's consumer-facing platform.
- Design and Execute Test Strategies
- Develop comprehensive test plans and automation strategy to assess application quality across functional, API, UI, and end-to-end flows.
- Design and implement test scenarios simulating real-world transaction health insurance use cases.
- Mentor team members
- Provide guidance and support to QA engineers on automation framework design and best practices.
- Share best practices in test automation, backend validation, and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Work closely with developers, architects, and system administrators to identify functional and integration defects.
- Communicate test findings, release readiness, and go/no-go recommendations to leadership for informed decision-making.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

Qualifications
Required
5+ years in API Testing: BigTable, ISO 20000, Selenium, Splunk, SWIFT
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

- Consulting experience and/or in the Healthcare domain
- Integration general - messaging queues, Jenkins, MS Azure DevOps, Payment processing: Advanced
