This role involves managing the end-to-end leasing process for our single-family homes, from initial lead generation through final lease signings. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, possesses a strong understanding of the local real estate market, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct showings of available singlefamily properties to prospective tenants.
- Manage tenant applications, including screening for creditworthiness and background checks.
- Negotiate lease terms and ensure the preparation of accurate, legal lease documentation.
- Provide highquality customer service to both potential and current tenants.
- Assist in marketing and advertising efforts to maximize property visibility.
- Stay informed on local market trends to help shape effective leasing strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all leasing activities.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are movein ready.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable housing laws and regulations.
- Manage lease renewals efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Previous experience in leasing or real estate is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Knowledge of local real estate and fair housing laws.
- Ability to provide high levels of customer service.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching; occasional sitting and lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to navigate properties, including stairs and uneven surfaces.
- Work Environment: Primarily a professional office setting with occasional travel to properties and exposure to varying weather conditions during showings.
