Consultant Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a consultant job in Seattle?
Focus your search on Seattle's dominant sectors: enterprise technology, healthcare systems, management consulting, and financial services. Firms clustered in South Lake Union and the Central Business District hire frequently, as do the large health networks based in First Hill and the major tech campuses in Bellevue and Redmond. Candidates with project management credentials, data fluency, or sector-specific expertise in those industries tend to move faster through local hiring processes.
Which companies hire consultants in Seattle?
Seattle consultant roles are posted by Deloitte, Seattle Children's, and Amazon Web Services and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. The Seattle market includes a mix of global professional services firms, regional health systems, and technology companies that run large internal consulting and strategy functions.
Are there remote consultant jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though it depends heavily on the type of work: analytical, strategy, and advisory roles tend to be more remote-friendly, while operations, IT implementation, and on-site transformation projects typically require a physical presence. About 42% of consultant openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how widely hybrid schedules have taken hold across the city's tech and professional services employers.
How can I get a consultant job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is targeting analyst or associate-level roles at professional services firms or the internal strategy teams of large tech and health companies. Seattle's major health networks and mid-size tech firms regularly hire junior consultants and business analysts who can grow into senior roles. A strong showing in case interviews, familiarity with tools like Excel or Tableau, and any experience with process improvement or data analysis gives entry-level candidates a genuine edge locally.

Seattle's outsized technology sector, large integrated health systems, and a growing financial services presence create consistent demand for consultants who can work at the intersection of business strategy and complex operations.
