Continuous Improvement Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a continuous improvement manager in Texas?
Most continuous improvement managers in Texas follow a path that starts with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or a related field, followed by frontline roles in manufacturing, logistics, or energy operations. Texas does not require a state-issued license for this role, but earning a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt through an accredited body is effectively the market-standard credential that Texas employers expect before considering candidates for a manager-level position.
How much do continuous improvement managers make in Texas?
Continuous improvement managers in Texas earn a median of about $104,560 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $67,490 for the lowest 10% to over $168,670 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire continuous improvement managers in Texas?
Employers hiring continuous improvement managers in Texas right now include Kraft Heinz, BD, and C.H. Guenther & Son, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's deep manufacturing and energy base means demand is especially consistent at large petrochemical, aerospace, and defense contractors with long-term operations in the state.
Which Texas cities have the most continuous improvement manager jobs?
Garland, Duncanville, and El Paso have the most continuous improvement manager openings in Texas. Houston's concentration of energy, petrochemical, and industrial manufacturing employers drives the largest share of listings, while Dallas-Fort Worth's logistics hubs, aerospace firms, and corporate headquarters account for significant volume, and San Antonio's growing advanced manufacturing and military-adjacent defense sector contributes a steady stream of openings.
Are there remote continuous improvement manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, but they're rare. Continuous improvement managers are expected to be present on the shop floor or operational site to observe workflows, lead kaizen events, and coach frontline teams, which limits remote flexibility for most roles. About 0% of continuous improvement manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, and those tend to be senior-level positions focused on program governance, training design, or multi-site reporting rather than hands-on implementation.
How can I get hired as a continuous improvement manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a quality technician, production supervisor, or industrial engineering associate role at a Texas manufacturer, which puts you directly in environments where Lean and Six Sigma tools are used daily. Large Texas employers in automotive assembly, aerospace, and refining often run internal development programs that move high-performing associates into improvement project roles. Earning a Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt before applying gives candidates a concrete credential that signals readiness, even without a formal manager title on a resume.
Where can I find and apply to continuous improvement manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to continuous improvement manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and target industry, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
