TITLE: Marketing – Innovation Intern
THE GIST
The Innovation Intern will be at the center of the Lagunitas innovation machine, leading project management and on-time delivery of our newest products. This will be a high-visibility role that will interface across a variety of stakeholders from Marketing and Sales to Brewing. This will be an amazing opportunity to learn and support new product development from brief through launch.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be currently enrolled, or recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a vocational program, college, community college, or university
- Must have a cumulative GPA over 3.0
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities
The individual will support the Innovation Manager and Sr. Innovation Manager with project management through the stage gate and commercialization processes. Responsibilities include:
- Managing project timelines
- Tracking project budgets
- General operational support of the innovation process
PROJECT OVERVIEW
- Develop and proactively own innovation project timelines across total gate process
- Communicate timelines, key milestones, and project changes to cross-functional stakeholders
- Own regulatory review and approval process for all innovations, ensuring feedback is incorporated inclusive of trademarks, TTB, COLA, state approvals
- Collaborate with Innovation Brewing team to manage Inno Lab project calendar
- Manage creation of innovation commercialization support materials
WHAT YOU’LL GET

- Cross-functional exposure and guidance from Brand, Sales, Brewing, and Operations teams

- Comfortable managing multiple, changing priorities and deadlines, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- A curious and humble learner, who enjoys collaboration with key stakeholders
- Ability to rally a team behind initiatives and ensure that all details are diligently managed through commercialization
- A relationship-builder – a great listener who can read between the lines, someone who can establish a strong rapport with key cross-functional partners
- Strong organization skills and highly detail-oriented able to create detailed timelines and specific action plans for projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Marketing degree (complete or in pursuit) preferred
- Content creation experience preferred
- Comfortable at live events
- Proficient with MS Office tools
- Able to travel to 6 live events in September (typically 1 or 2 nights each trip)
- A passion for music and/or craft beer culture is a plus
