About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About The Role
We're looking for a Product Marketing Lead to own go-to-market for some of the highest-leverage surfaces of the Claude Platform (API). You'll lead a team responsible for the Cloud, Enterprise, and Ecosystem pillars that together shape how enterprises buy, deploy, and extend Claude. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy and commercial execution. You'll manage a team of PMMs, partner with Product to bring new products to market, arm Sales with the narratives and tools they need to win enterprise deals, and work with our cloud and ecosystem partners to drive joint launches that generate market momentum. If you've led product marketing for developer platforms, API products, or technical infrastructure, have built and coached PMM teams, and are energized by shipping new capabilities on a weekly cadence, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of product marketers covering Cloud, Enterprise, and Ecosystem for the Claude Platform (API)
- Develop and maintain a unified portfolio narrative that articulates how our products work together to serve enterprise needs
- Drive product launches that generate market momentum, from flagship releases to incremental feature updates across your key pillars
- Support sales enablement initiatives that equip our teams to win: battlecards, pitch materials, customer stories, and objection handling
- Own content and launch strategy for partner conferences like AWS re:Invent, Google Cloud Next, and Microsoft Ignite — including keynotes, sessions, and launch moments
- Lead go-to-market for MCP and the broader connectivity story that ties Claude into customer systems
- Shape and execute the Claude Marketplace go-to-market, including positioning, co-marketing, and sales enablement
- Partner with Product to shape roadmap priorities based on competitive intel, customer research, and field feedback
- Work closely with Developer Relations, Comms, Creative, Marketing, and Sales to effectively bring new products to market
You May Be a Good Fit If You
- Have product marketing experience focused on developer platforms, APIs, or technical products with a proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies for API products or developer tools, including successful product launches - multiple years of marketing developer products to developer audiences is required for this position
- Have experience partnering with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) on joint product launches and driving launches across multiple platforms
- Have experience leading product marketing for a portfolio of related products, including leading a small team or a cross-functional pod
- Have a strong technical background with ability to understand and communicate complex AI features to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excel at cross-functional collaboration, particularly in aligning product, sales, and marketing strategies
- Possess strong storytelling skills with demonstrated ability to create diverse marketing content including blogs, presentations, sales collateral, website copy, and customer case studies
- Have exceptional writing skills with demonstrated ability to adapt tone, style, and complexity for diverse audiences (executives, technical users, end customers) and formats (long-form content, product briefs, email campaigns, social media)
Strong Candidates May Have
- Experience in high-growth companies scaling enterprise go-to-market
- A track record of building product marketing functions or teams
- Experience in highly competitive markets requiring sharp differentiation
- Background marketing AI/ML products or developer tools to enterprise buyers
- Experience working closely with sales teams on strategic, technical deals

How We're Different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
