DESCRIPTION
Key job responsibilities
- Own the enterprise customer operational relationship across all freight modes (TL, IMDL, LTL), serving as the single threaded point of contact for your accounts' operational points of contact
- Identify systemic operational defects impacting your accounts using performance dashboards and customer feedback. Quantify the problem in dollars, loads, and retention risk
- Coordinate cross functional teams to resolution: gather customer insights, understand requirements, bring the right internal teams together, align on the path forward, and ensure we deliver. You don't solve problems alone but you own making sure they get solved
- Own the customer facing performance narrative. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews, produce recovery plans during performance degradation, and proactively communicate progress on open issues with timelines and measurable targets
- Own escalation communication to customer executives when something goes wrong: what's happening, what we're doing about it, and how we're tracking toward resolution
- Own internal reporting, including MBRs, account bridges, and leading inspection mechanisms for your accounts. Report out on performance metrics, cost inputs, and customer KPIs
- Influence customer operations to drive optimal inputs that lower our costs. Define what good looks like, measure it, and partner with customers to change how they operate
- Activate structured recovery programs before the customer escalates
A day in the life
Your day starts with account health dashboards, spotting a detention-charge trend at one customer's facilities and digging into its cause. By midmorning you're briefing a customer's regional transportation director on performance, then rallying ops and pricing partners on a structural issue hitting multiple facilities. After lunch you build your MBR narrative, quantifying your team's impact and open items. Later you lead a working session with operations and product on a fix to prevent recurring defects, then close by updating a customer VP on a two-week escalation, showing progress against committed targets.

Who's Hiring

Customer Success Analyst Jobs in Nashville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a customer success analyst job in Nashville?
The strongest path into Nashville's market is targeting the city's dense cluster of healthcare IT and SaaS employers, which hire customer success analysts more consistently than most other sectors locally. Concentrating your search on companies based in Midtown, the Gulch, and Cool Springs puts you closest to the highest volume of openings. Candidates who can demonstrate experience with CRM platforms, renewal workflows, or onboarding programs stand out in Nashville's market.
Which companies hire customer success analysts in Nashville?
Employers hiring customer success analysts in Nashville right now include Oracle, Compass, and HubSync, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Nashville's hiring base skews toward growth-stage technology companies and established healthcare technology firms that maintain large customer portfolios requiring dedicated analyst support.
Are there remote customer success analyst jobs in Nashville?
Yes, customer success analyst roles are well-suited to remote and hybrid arrangements because the work centers on data analysis, customer communication, and platform management rather than on-site presence. About 54% of customer success analyst openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting how broadly technology employers in the area have adopted flexible work. Renewal analysis and reporting functions tend to be the most remote-eligible parts of the role locally.
How can I get a customer success analyst job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Nashville is moving from a customer support or account coordinator role at one of the city's mid-size SaaS or healthcare technology companies, where internal transitions to analyst positions are common. Nashville employers like these frequently hire for customer-facing entry roles that expose candidates to the data and tooling a customer success analyst uses day to day. Building proficiency in Salesforce or Gainsight and pursuing a CRM certification strengthens a local candidacy considerably.
