Customer Success Manager Jobs in Tennessee: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer success manager in Tennessee?
Most customer success manager roles in Tennessee do not require a state-issued license, so the path runs through education and experience. Employers typically expect a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, plus experience in account management, sales support, or customer service. Tennessee's concentration of healthcare IT and SaaS companies means familiarity with those industries and tools like Salesforce gives candidates a meaningful edge in the job market.
Which companies hire customer success managers in Tennessee?
Employers hiring customer success managers in Tennessee right now include NetraDyne, TRC, and Mosai, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Tennessee's healthcare technology sector, anchored in Nashville, is a particularly consistent source of openings for customer success professionals.
Which Tennessee cities have the most customer success manager jobs?
Nashville, Knoxville, and Tennessee have the most customer success manager openings in Tennessee. Nashville drives the largest share, fueled by its dense concentration of healthcare IT firms, SaaS companies, and corporate headquarters, while Memphis and Brentwood add openings through logistics, financial services, and large regional employer campuses.
Are there remote customer success manager jobs in Tennessee?
Yes, and more than most fields, because customer success work is primarily communication and platform-based rather than tied to a physical location. About 90% of customer success manager openings tied to Tennessee are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. The responsibilities most commonly performed remotely include onboarding calls, renewal reviews, and account check-ins conducted over video and email.
How can I get hired as a customer success manager in Tennessee with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a customer-facing support or inside sales role at a Tennessee technology or healthcare company, then transitioning into a customer success associate position. Nashville-area SaaS and health IT firms regularly hire associate customer success managers from support teams. Building familiarity with Salesforce or Gainsight and earning a vendor certification, such as Gainsight's Pulse certification, helps candidates stand out when applying for junior roles without a traditional CSM background.
Where can I find and apply to customer success manager jobs in Tennessee?
You can find and apply to customer success manager jobs in Tennessee on Migrate Mate, which lists current Tennessee openings across industries and experience levels. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly through each listing.
