LaLa Photography Nashville is looking for a Photo Editor & Client Sales Specialist to join our studio team!
This is a unique position that combines professional photo editing, customer service and sales.
You'll spend part of your day behind the computer creating beautiful finished images for our clients and part of your day working directly with those clients during their image viewing and ordering appointments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
PHOTO EDITING
- Edit portrait sessions using our studio's established editing style
- Correct exposure, color, white balance and skin tones
- Make natural, polished adjustments to portraits
- Clean up distracting elements when needed
- Crop and straighten images
- Maintain consistency throughout each gallery
- Meet editing deadlines and follow our workflow
CLIENT VIEWINGS & SALES
- Meet with clients for their in-studio image viewing appointments
- Present their finished photographs
- Help clients select the images they love most
- Explain included images and available upgrades
- Confidently answer questions about products and pricing
- Help clients make decisions without being pushy
- Process orders and payments accurately
- Provide a warm, professional client experience
STUDIO SUPPORT
- Communicate with photographers and the studio team
- Help keep galleries and client orders organized
- Assist with preparing the studio between clients when needed
- Follow LaLa's systems and procedures

We are looking for someone who is both detail-oriented and great with people.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER.
Professional photography experience is a plus, but it isn't the most important qualification.
We can train you on LaLa's editing style, software, workflow and sales process.
We're much more interested in finding someone who is:

A REALISTIC LOOK AT THE JOB
We want to be completely upfront about what this position involves.
This isn't a job where you'll be editing photographs all day.
You'll switch between computer-based editing work and working directly with clients.
Some days you'll spend several hours focused on editing. Other days you'll have multiple viewing appointments and spend more time talking with families.
You'll also work with babies and young children, so patience and flexibility are important.
And yes — sales are part of the job.
Our clients come in to view the photographs from their session, and you'll help them understand what is included in their session and what additional images or products are available.
We want our clients to feel helped, not pressured.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR LONG TERM
We're not looking for someone who wants to stay for a few months and move on to their next opportunity.
We're looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our studio, learn our systems and grow with LaLa.
