Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, along with experience in account management or client-facing support. Candidates who build proficiency in CRM tools and can demonstrate measurable retention or expansion outcomes are consistently competitive in the Kansas market, particularly in Wichita and the Kansas City metro.
Which companies hire customer successs in Kansas?

Which Kansas cities have the most customer success jobs?
Overland Park, Home, and Lenexa lead Kansas for customer success openings. Overland Park and the broader Kansas City metro drive the largest share of demand because of the concentration of SaaS, fintech, and healthcare technology companies headquartered or operating there, while Wichita contributes openings tied to aerospace and manufacturing software vendors.

Roles focused on enterprise onboarding, renewal management, and digital-first accounts tend to be the most consistently remote.
How can I get hired as a customer success in Kansas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a support, inside sales, or implementation role at a Kansas-based software or technology company.
