The Deploy Automation Engineer will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, enhancement, and ongoing development of continuous build and integration infrastructure. The role will focus on automating CI/CD processes, supporting Linux environments, maintaining deployment scripts, and enabling efficient movement of code through Development, Test, Staging, and Production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, maintain, and continuously improve continuous build and integration infrastructure.
Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes across multiple Linux environments.
Develop, maintain, and enhance build and deployment scripts.
Support the integration, operation, change management, and maintenance of CI/CD tools.
Support end-to-end automation of CI and testing processes.
Develop and maintain policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and technical guidance for CI/CD operations and development teams.
Onboard, train, and support developers throughout the software delivery lifecycle, including source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment.
Enable DevOps practices by facilitating the movement of code from Development and Test through Staging and Production.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the CI/CD pipeline.
Collaborate effectively with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
CMS experience is preferred.
Required Technical Skills
2+ years of experience with Red Hat Ansible
2+ years of experience with Jenkins
2+ years of experience with Linux Operations
Additional Requirements
Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Must be eligible to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
Must have established residency in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
