The global e-Commerce US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. The role is responsible for building the TikTok E-commerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. About the Role
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to creatively connect brands, creators, content, and commerce. The Category Creator Specialist will serve an essential function for merchant operations, with a primary focus on driving growth and success of our merchants via creator engagement. The role has a broad scope from managing content programs and creator identification and onboarding, merchant content strategy development & execution and optimization. The position plays a central role in supporting all elements of creator strategy, affiliate development, and content programs for our top TikTok Shop merchants. We're onboarding some of the world's largest, most exciting and on trend brands in one or more categories and need a strong partner-connector who can help these brands find their creative voice to reach and inspire the next generation of customers.
- Partner with Category Managers and top merchants within one or multiple categories to understand their content & commercial strategy; design content programs tailored to their unique needs; and identify and activate creators to achieve the best results for the merchant.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive creator marketing strategy aligned with merchants' audience reach, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Recruit creators who align with merchants' values, target audience, and product offerings.
- Develop effective creator briefing templates and materials to accelerate the production process.
- Manage the creator sampling process end-to-end, and measure/optimize availability, speed, and conversion.
- Own creator-facing engagements for merchants and partner with Category Managers to resolve issues; develop scalable processes as the business grows.
- Monitor and analyze creator-generated content and performance data to build best-practice models for content mix (brand, creator, paid), scale, and optimization.
- Maintain a pulse on popular products, current e-commerce tactics, and overall industry trends within relevant categories.
- Collaborate with fellow TikTok Creator teams to share best practices and identify new resources, tools, and program opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience in influencer or creator marketing, digital marketing, or category management in E-commerce.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a growth mindset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience partnering with brands or commerce platforms to execute, optimize, or scale influencer and affiliate programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully managing category accounts; expert in industry trends, emerging creators/the creator ecosystem, and retail seasonal flow to drive content commerce.
- Experience at a leading consulting firm or prominent E-commerce platform is a plus.
- Experience as a creator/influencer or with content creation, video production, and editing is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in content commerce and live shopping is a plus.
- Familiarity with analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) and programming languages (SQL, Python, etc.) is a plus.

Job Information
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $209380 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
