Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as an Advertising Sales Manager
Align your credentials to U.S. specialty occupation standards
Your Australian bachelor's degree must map to the specific field of the role. A degree in marketing or communications supports an Advertising Sales Manager position; a general business degree may require supplementary documentation to satisfy DOL specialty occupation criteria.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Media groups, digital advertising networks, and out-of-home advertising companies regularly file Labor Condition Applications for sales management roles. Focus your search on employers who have sponsored international hires before, since they already understand the LCA certification process.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Advertising Sales Manager roles posted by employers open to E-3 visa sponsorship. Filtering by sponsorship history saves time and surfaces employers already familiar with the LCA and consular process.
Negotiate the sponsorship conversation before the offer stage
Raise E-3 visa sponsorship during the final interview round, not after you receive an offer. Employers unfamiliar with the E-3 often assume the H-1B lottery is required; clarifying the simpler E-3 process can remove objections before they become deal-breakers.
Confirm your LCA wage meets the prevailing wage level
The DOL requires your offered salary to meet the prevailing wage for Advertising Sales Managers in the specific metro area. Request that your employer verify the wage level before filing, since an underpaid LCA will be rejected and delays your start date.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your LCA and paperwork
Once you have a signed offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA filing, visa application documents, and consulate preparation. This is especially useful if your employer has no prior E-3 experience and needs guided support through each step.

Find Advertising Sales Manager JobsAdvertising Sales Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Advertising Sales Manager jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search for Advertising Sales Manager roles where employers are open to E-3 visa sponsorship. Many advertising and media companies sponsor international talent but don't advertise it explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with relevant sponsorship history, so you spend less time cold-applying to roles that won't move forward.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Advertising Sales Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as marketing, advertising, communications, or business. Roles that accept any degree regardless of field, or that routinely hire candidates without a degree, may face scrutiny during LCA certification. A job description that explicitly states a degree requirement in a relevant discipline strengthens the case significantly.
How does the E-3 visa compare to the H-1B for Advertising Sales Manager roles?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens but has no lottery and no annual cap, meaning you can apply at any time of year and start within weeks of a consular appointment. The H-1B requires entering a lottery with roughly a one-in-four selection rate and a fixed April registration window. For Australian professionals, the E-3 is a far more reliable path to the same outcome.
Can I switch employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as an Advertising Sales Manager?
Yes to both, but each change requires a new LCA and updated visa documentation. A promotion that changes your job title or duties materially, or a move to a new employer, triggers a fresh LCA filing with the DOL. You can start with a new employer once the new LCA is certified and a new E-3 visa is issued, so plan for a processing gap between roles.
