Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship in Assistant Manager - Sales
Align your degree to the role
E-3 visa eligibility requires your bachelor's degree to match the specialty occupation. A business or marketing degree supports most Assistant Manager - Sales applications, but a degree in an unrelated field creates LCA complications worth resolving before applying.
Target employers with LCA filing history
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for sales management roles. Employers already familiar with the process are far less likely to withdraw an offer once they learn what E-3 sponsorship actually requires from them.
Raise E-3 sponsorship early in negotiations
Bring up visa sponsorship before the offer stage, not after. Australian professionals who wait until the verbal offer often face delays when HR discovers they need to file an LCA with DOL before the visa application can proceed.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the paperwork
Once you have a signed offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end to end. This keeps the process moving without putting the administrative burden on an employer who's never sponsored an E-3 before.
Verify your Australian credentials translate correctly
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. Have a credential evaluation ready if your employer or a consular officer asks for documentation of equivalency before approving the LCA.
Prepare your nonimmigrant intent for the consular interview
Consular officers assess whether you intend to return to Australia after your E-3 expires. For sales management roles, concrete ties like property, family, or a standing position at home carry more weight than abstract statements of intent.
E-3 Visa Assistant Manager - Sales: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Assistant Manager - Sales jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Assistant Manager - Sales roles at employers with E-3 and H-1B visa filing history, so you're not cold-applying to companies that have never sponsored a visa before. Filtering by sponsorship history cuts the most common source of late-stage offer withdrawals.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Assistant Manager - Sales role qualify as a specialty occupation for E-3?
It depends on how the position is defined. Sales management roles qualify when the employer's job requirements specify a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as business administration, marketing, or communications. Roles where any degree is accepted, regardless of field, can fail the specialty occupation test at the LCA stage.
How does the E-3 compare to H-1B for Assistant Manager - Sales roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no numerical cap, so an Australian professional with a qualifying offer can proceed immediately rather than waiting for a selection round. H-1B registrations far exceed available slots each year, making timing unpredictable. For sales management roles, the E-3 is a direct path where H-1B is a probability exercise.
Can I change employers after starting work on an E-3 in a sales management role?
Yes, but you need to restart the process with the new employer. Your E-3 is tied to the sponsoring employer and the certified LCA. The new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need to obtain a new E-3 visa stamp before or shortly after starting. There's no portability provision equivalent to what H-1B holders have under AC21.
