Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as an Inside Sales Specialist
Align your degree to the role
Inside sales roles qualify as specialty occupations only when the employer can show a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is normally required. A degree in an unrelated field weakens your LCA and risks a visa denial.
Target companies with prior LCA history
Search the DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway for certified LCAs under job titles like 'Inside Sales Representative' or 'Sales Development Representative.' Employers who have filed before already understand E-3 sponsorship obligations and move faster through the process.
Request a written offer before the LCA
Your employer files the LCA with DOL before you apply for the visa. Make sure your offer letter specifies the job title, work location, and full-time status, because LCA details must match the consulate application exactly or you risk a 221(g) administrative processing hold.
Clarify remote work arrangements early
Inside sales roles are increasingly remote, but the LCA must list a physical worksite address. If you'll work remotely, your employer needs to file the LCA for your home address state, which affects the prevailing wage level used by DOL.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your application
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA preparation, DS-160, and consulate document package. Errors in the LCA wage attestation or job description are among the most common reasons E-3 applications stall.
Prepare Australian credential documentation upfront
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees, but bring your official transcript and a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator if your degree title doesn't clearly map to the role's specialty occupation field.

Find Inside Sales Specialist JobsInside Sales Specialist E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Inside Sales Specialist jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for E-3 visa sponsorship roles. You can filter Inside Sales Specialist positions by employers who have a track record of E-3 or H-1B filings, which signals familiarity with the sponsorship process and reduces the risk of an employer backing out after offer.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Inside Sales Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the employer defines the role. Inside sales positions qualify when the job requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field like business, marketing, or communications as a standard requirement, not just a preference. If the job posting says 'bachelor's preferred' rather than 'required,' the specialty occupation standard is harder to meet and your employer will need stronger documentation to support the LCA.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Inside Sales Specialist roles?
The E-3 has no lottery, no annual cap issues, and can be filed at any time of year, which makes it far more predictable for both you and your employer. H-1B registrations are capped at 85,000 per year with a randomized lottery, so your offer could be withdrawn simply due to non-selection. For inside sales roles where hiring timelines are often shorter, the E-3's year-round availability is a practical advantage.
What happens to my E-3 status if I change employers or move to a different sales team?
E-3 status is tied to a specific employer and job. If you change employers, your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new visa stamp before re-entering the U.S. or, in some cases, a change of status if you're already onshore. Moving to a different internal role with meaningfully different duties can also require a new LCA filing, so confirm with your employer before accepting a promotion or lateral transfer.
