INTRODUCTION
Be the one building AI-powered experiences where they matter most.
At Genesys, we help organizations create better customer experiences through AI-powered experience orchestration. Our platform connects people, systems, data, and AI to help organizations deliver more personalized service, improve operational efficiency, and build stronger customer relationships.
Help build, support, and operate technology used by more than 8,000 organizations in over 100 countries – moving AI from possibility to production in real-world enterprise environments every day.
As Director of AI Product Marketing, you’ll shape how Genesys defines, differentiates, and takes its AI story to market. You’ll own Genesys’ point of view on AI in CX — and how that point of view gets told, proven, and sold.
You’ll translate what Product and Engineering are building into positioning and messaging that customers, analysts, and the field believe, while arming sales with the story, differentiation, and proof points to sell AI with confidence. Just as importantly, you’ll bring market, customer, and competitive insight back into the organization to help shape how Genesys leads in AI.
You’ll use deep AI fluency to bridge the gap between advanced technology and everyday value, turning complex capabilities into clear narratives that make work easier, decisions sharper, and experiences better. You’ll lead a team of Product Marketing professionals responsible for positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, launches, and adoption across the Genesys AI portfolio.
We’re looking for original thinking that comes from wrestling with the problem — not repeating what the last analyst report said. You’ll need the executive presence to work in both directions: credible with engineers and researchers, and clear enough with the C-suite to make complex ideas land in one meeting.
You’ll thrive in a fast-moving technology environment where the market, products, and priorities evolve quickly. You won’t be rattled by change. You’ll know when to hold the line, when to pivot, and how to keep teams aligned and moving as new opportunities emerge.
If you’re passionate about AI, energized by building differentiated market narratives, and skilled at turning bold ideas into commercial impact, this role puts you at the forefront of defining how AI powers the next chapter of Genesys Cloud.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own Genesys’ AI narrative and positioning, defining the story, value propositions, proof points, and differentiation we use to win in CX — and evolving them as the technology, competitive landscape, and buyer expectations change.
- Translate technical innovation into customer value, turning complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across technical, business, executive, analyst, and field audiences.
- Own the competitive narrative for AI in CX, identifying where Genesys can credibly lead, where competitors are setting the agenda, and how we create meaningful separation in the market.
- Build a deep partnership with Product and Engineering, bringing market, customer, and competitive insight upstream to influence priorities and ensuring every major AI capability launches with differentiated positioning, customer proof, and a story the field can sell.
- Establish an always-on AI go-to-market motion, testing new programs and channels to build mindshare, create pipeline, improve seller effectiveness, and accelerate customer adoption.
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, driving alignment on priorities and ensuring AI positioning and go-to-market strategy support Genesys’ broader business objectives.
- Partner closely across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Analyst Relations, and other teams to ensure consistent AI storytelling, aligned execution, and shared measures of success.
- Turn customer outcomes into market proof, identifying and amplifying compelling AI success stories, including agentic AI use cases that demonstrate measurable business value.
- Represent Genesys externally as an AI thought leader, engaging with customers, partners, analysts, media, and industry forums to strengthen Genesys’ voice and credibility in the market.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of AI product marketers, setting a high bar for strategic thinking and craft while creating an environment that encourages growth, creativity, healthy debate, and collaboration.
- Measure and continuously improve impact, using market feedback, seller input, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data to refine positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of B2B technology marketing experience, including significant product marketing leadership in enterprise software and experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of owning positioning, messaging, launches, and go-to-market strategy for complex enterprise technology — ideally AI, cloud, data, developer platforms, or adjacent categories.
- Deep fluency in AI technologies and where the field is headed — including agentic architectures, reasoning models, orchestration, and multi-agent systems — sufficient to speak credibly with engineers and researchers, challenge assumptions, and hold your own when the hard questions come.
- Exceptional product marketing judgment and craft, with evidence of developing differentiated positioning, simplifying technically complex products, and creating narratives that changed customer, seller, or market perception.
- Strong commercial orientation, with experience connecting product marketing strategy to outcomes such as pipeline, adoption, seller effectiveness, competitive wins, and market perception.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and make sound decisions in fast-changing environments where the market and technology are evolving quickly.
- Experience driving cross-functional alignment and influencing senior executives across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and other functions.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to move fluidly between technical depth and executive-level clarity.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trust, developing talent, and raising the performance of teams around you.
- Skilled in using data, customer insight, and market feedback to make decisions, measure impact, and continuously improve strategy and execution.

Align your CV to U.S. resume conventions
U.S. hiring managers expect a one-to-two page resume, not an Australian-style CV. Strip the photo, date of birth, and referees section, then lead with a summary that names your go-to-market specialisation and industry verticals explicitly.
Target companies with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data to identify employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications for marketing leadership roles. Prior LCA activity signals an employer already understands the E-3 visa sponsorship process and is less likely to hesitate at offer stage.
Raise E-3 sponsorship after receiving an offer
Bring up the E-3 after the employer signals intent to hire, not during early interviews. At that point, frame it clearly: the company files an LCA with DOL, you attend a consulate appointment in Australia, and there is no lottery or cap risk to manage.
Clarify your degree equivalency before interviews
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 specialty occupation purposes. If your degree is outside marketing or business, prepare a brief explanation of how your coursework directly supports the Product Marketing Director role you're targeting.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your paperwork
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA submission and consulate preparation. This keeps the employer's administrative burden low, which removes a common objection at the point when sponsorship conversations get practical.
Negotiate E-3 prevailing wage compliance into your offer
Your employer must certify your salary meets DOL prevailing wage requirements for the role and location before the LCA is approved. Confirm during offer negotiation that your proposed compensation meets this threshold so there are no surprises at the LCA filing stage.
E-3 Visa Product Marketing Director: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Product Marketing Director jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Product Marketing Director roles at U.S. companies that have a track record of sponsoring Australian professionals on the E-3 visa. Standard job boards don't filter by sponsorship history or visa type, so you end up applying to roles where the employer has no idea what the E-3 process involves.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Product Marketing Director role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, in most cases. The E-3 requires the role to normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Product Marketing Director positions consistently require degrees in marketing, business, or communications and are well-established specialty occupations. Roles where a degree in any field is accepted, or where the requirement is listed as preferred rather than required, can create complications at the LCA stage.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for a Product Marketing Director?
The E-3 is far more predictable for this role. The H-1B visa has an annual cap of 85,000 and is subject to a lottery, meaning selection isn't guaranteed regardless of your qualifications. The E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never been filled, no lottery, and allows you to attend a consulate appointment in Australia within weeks of receiving an offer. For a senior hire, employers strongly prefer a process without lottery risk.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3 visa?
Changing employers requires your new employer to file a fresh LCA with DOL and obtain a new E-3 visa stamp before you begin work. A promotion or significant change in job duties at your existing employer may also require an amended LCA if the role scope changes materially. Internal title changes without a shift in core responsibilities generally don't trigger a new filing requirement.
