Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Campaign Manager
Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. hiring managers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree in marketing or communications satisfies the E-3 specialty occupation requirement. Request a credential evaluation letter from your university that maps your qualification to a U.S. bachelor's equivalent before submitting applications.
Target employers with established LCA filing history
Companies that have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for marketing or communications roles already understand the E-3 process. Filtering for employers with prior DOL LCA filings in advertising, media, or digital marketing significantly reduces the educational lift during your offer stage.
Clarify the specialty occupation question early in interviews
Campaign Manager roles must require a specific bachelor's degree, not just any degree. If a job posting says 'bachelor's preferred' rather than 'required,' raise this directly with the hiring manager before an offer is extended, as it affects whether the role qualifies under E-3 rules.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after accepting your offer
Once you have a signed offer letter, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This covers DOL Labor Condition Application filing, DS-160 preparation, and consulate appointment readiness without requiring you to coordinate multiple government agencies yourself.
Negotiate your start date around LCA certification timelines
The DOL typically certifies an LCA within seven business days, but your employer needs time to prepare the application first. Build at least three to four weeks between offer acceptance and your proposed start date to give the process room before your consulate appointment.
Prepare a role-to-degree mapping document for your consulate interview
Consular officers assess whether your Campaign Manager duties genuinely require your specific degree field. Prepare a one-page document connecting your degree coursework, such as consumer behavior, brand strategy, or media planning, directly to the core responsibilities listed in your offer letter.

Find Campaign Manager JobsCampaign Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find Campaign Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. The platform surfaces Campaign Manager positions at employers already familiar with the E-3 process, so you're not spending time educating hiring managers about a visa category they've never encountered. Searching through general job boards means filtering manually for employers willing to sponsor, which is time-consuming and unreliable.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Campaign Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as marketing, communications, advertising, or a closely related discipline. The key test is whether the employer's job requirements specify a degree, not just prefer one. Roles at larger agencies or in-house brand teams tend to have clearer degree requirements that satisfy the specialty occupation standard more easily than generalist marketing coordinator positions.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Campaign Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, which means you and your employer can file at any point during the year with a high degree of certainty about timing. The H-1B is capped at 85,000 per year and selected by lottery, meaning a qualified Campaign Manager applying through H-1B may not receive a slot at all. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is the more reliable and predictable path into a U.S. marketing role.
Can I switch Campaign Manager employers while on an E-3?
Yes, but the new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll need to attend a new consulate appointment unless you're already in the U.S. and changing status. You can't simply transfer the existing E-3 to a new employer. Give yourself sufficient lead time when planning a job change, as the DOL certification and consulate scheduling add several weeks to the process.
