E-3 Visa Financial Analyst Jobs
Financial Analyst roles in the U.S. qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so Australian professionals can start the sponsorship process as soon as they have a job offer.

Due to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19. Details can vary by role.
Intuitive is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and employees, and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type, without regard to race, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status, genetic information or any other status protected under federal, state, or local applicable laws.
U.S. Export Controls Disclaimer: In accordance with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (15 CFR §743.13(b)), some roles at Intuitive Surgical may be subject to U.S. export controls for prospective employees who are nationals from countries currently on embargo or sanctions status.
Certain information you provide as part of the application will be used for purposes of determining whether Intuitive Surgical will need to (i) obtain an export license from the U.S. Government on your behalf (note: the government’s licensing process can take 3 to 6+ months) or (ii) implement a Technology Control Plan (“TCP”) (note: typically adds 2 weeks to the hiring process).
For any Intuitive role subject to export controls, final offers are contingent upon obtaining an approved export license and/or an executed TCP prior to the prospective employee’s start date, which may or may not be flexible, and within a timeframe that does not unreasonably impede the hiring need. If applicable, candidates will be notified and instructed on any requirements for these purposes.
We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with fair chance laws.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who do not reside, or plan to reside, in Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, or Tennessee.
This position may be filled at a different job level than listed here depending on business need and/or on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills. Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Financial Analyst
Translate your AQF credentials for U.S. employers
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees in finance or accounting are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes. Bring your academic transcripts and, if asked, a credential evaluation letter that maps your AQF qualification to a U.S. degree standard.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Focus your search on companies that have already filed Labor Condition Applications for Financial Analyst roles. The DOL's OFLC disclosure data shows which employers sponsor this role regularly, cutting your time spent on employers unfamiliar with the E-3 process.
Find E-3 sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you have an offer. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with active E-3 and LCA filing history so you're applying to companies already set up to sponsor.
Clarify the specialty occupation requirement early
Not every Financial Analyst job listing qualifies. The role must require a specific bachelor's degree, not just any degree. Push for job descriptions that state 'degree in finance, accounting, or economics required' rather than 'bachelor's preferred' before your employer files the LCA with the DOL.
Prepare your CPA or CFA documentation strategically
Professional certifications like the CPA or CFA strengthen your specialty occupation case, especially if your degree field is adjacent to the posted role. Bring original certificates and transcripts to your consulate interview to support the degree-to-role connection the officer will assess.
Understand the LCA timeline before accepting an offer
Your employer files the LCA with the DOL before the consulate appointment can be scheduled. DOL certifies most LCAs within seven business days. Build this into your start date negotiation so your employer files promptly after you accept.

Find Financial Analyst JobsFinancial Analyst E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Financial Analyst jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for Financial Analyst roles where employers are already set up to sponsor the E-3 visa. Many job listings don't explicitly mention E-3 sponsorship, so searching a platform that filters by employer LCA filing history saves significant time compared to cold-applying and asking each employer separately.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Financial Analyst role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, Financial Analyst qualifies as a specialty occupation under E-3 requirements, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as finance, accounting, economics, or business. The key test is whether the job description specifies a related degree as a requirement, not just a preference. A generic posting that accepts any degree is harder to support.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Financial Analyst roles?
The E-3 is significantly more predictable for Financial Analysts than the H-1B. There's no annual cap and no lottery, so you aren't subject to the roughly 25% H-1B selection rate. Your employer files an LCA with the DOL, you attend a consulate interview in Australia, and the visa is valid for two years with unlimited renewals, as long as you maintain qualifying employment.
Can I change employers while on an E-3 as a Financial Analyst?
You can change employers, but the E-3 is employer-specific and doesn't transfer. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL, and you'll need a new visa stamp before re-entering the U.S. if your current stamp has expired. If you're already in the U.S., you can begin working for the new employer once the LCA is certified and a new I-94 is issued through a consular visit.
