Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Global Account Manager
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
A Global Account Manager role must qualify as a specialty occupation under E-3 visa rules. Prepare documentation showing your bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a directly related field aligns with the specific responsibilities in your offer letter.
Target enterprise companies with international sales teams
Global Account Manager roles at companies managing Fortune 500 clients or cross-border accounts are far more likely to carry E-3 sponsorship than regional sales positions. Focus your search on multinationals with established international hiring pipelines.
Search verified E-3 sponsors on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Global Account Manager openings at employers with documented E-3 sponsorship history. Then use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you have an offer.
Negotiate the LCA into your offer timeline
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before your visa application can proceed. Raise this during the offer stage so the LCA timeline is built into your start date, not added as an afterthought.
Align your job title to DOL-recognized classifications
DOL uses Standard Occupational Classification codes to set prevailing wage levels for LCA filings. Confirm your offered title maps to a recognized SOC code like Sales Manager or Account Manager to avoid certification delays.
Prepare for consular scrutiny on dual intent
E-3 officers assess nonimmigrant intent at each renewal interview. Have clear documentation of your role scope, the employer's U.S. operations, and your current ties to Australia to address any intent questions confidently at the consulate.
E-3 Visa Global Account Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Global Account Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the recommended way to search. It surfaces Global Account Manager openings at employers with verified E-3 sponsorship history, so you're not cold-applying to roles where the hiring team has never heard of the visa. Filtering by sponsorship type upfront saves significant time compared to screening employers manually through the application process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Global Account Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or international commerce. The key is that the degree must be a stated requirement for the position, not just a preference. Roles focused on enterprise accounts with defined strategic responsibilities typically meet this bar, while generalist sales positions can be harder to qualify.
How does the E-3 visa compare to H-1B for Global Account Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap on available slots, which means Australian professionals can apply at any time of year after receiving a job offer. The H-1B visa requires registration in a lottery and a wait until October 1 if selected. For a Global Account Manager who wants to start within weeks of an offer, the E-3 is a faster and more predictable path.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as a Global Account Manager?
You can change employers, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need to obtain a new E-3 visa stamp before returning to the U.S. or apply for a change of status from within the country. A promotion to a significantly different role, such as VP of Sales, may also require a new LCA if the SOC code or wage level changes.
