About HeyGen
At HeyGen, our mission is to make visual storytelling accessible to all. Over the last decade, visual content has become the preferred method of information creation, consumption, and retention. But the ability to create such content, in particular videos, continues to be costly and challenging to scale. Our ambition is to build technology that equips more people with the power to reach, captivate, and inspire audiences.
Position Summary
HeyGen is growing fast, and our growth marketing engine needs to keep pace. We're looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist to serve as the execution right hand to our growth lead — someone who can take strategy and turn it into live, optimized campaigns across paid channels, affiliate, and influencer programs.
This is a full-time contractor role for someone who thrives in the weeds: launching campaigns, pulling keyword reports, adjusting bids, standing up A/B tests, and constantly looking for the next channel or angle to test. You'll work across Google, Meta, YouTube, Apple Search Ads, and emerging channels - we are constantly expanding. If you love the combination of analytical rigor and creative experimentation that defines great growth marketing, this role is for you.
This role is based in Los Angeles or San Francisco.
Core Responsibilities
- Paid campaign execution & reporting: Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads (Search, PMax), Meta/Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging channels (Reddit, AppLovin, Apple Search Ads). Monitor performance daily and keep reporting on spend, CAC, and efficiency metrics.
- Keyword research & bid management: Conduct ongoing keyword research, manage bid strategies, and adjust budgets based on performance.
- Testing & experimentation: Set up and run A/B tests and structured experiments across dimensions such as copy, messaging, creative, geo-targeting, incrementality, and audience.
- Affiliate program support: Help manage day-to-day affiliate operations — partner comms, performance monitoring, and fraud prevention.
- Micro-influencer outreach: Source and manage relationships with micro-influencers to drive awareness and acquisition.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or paid acquisition — internships and agency experience count.
- Proficiency in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager; bonus if you've also worked in TikTok, YouTube, or other platforms.
- Comfortable pulling keyword reports, adjusting bids, and managing budgets day-to-day.
- Analytical and detail-oriented — you catch the typo in the ad copy, the misallocated budget, and the anomaly in yesterday's spend.
- Self-starter who can move fast with minimal hand-holding in a high-autonomy environment.
Nice to Haves
- Experience managing affiliate programs (Rewardful preferred).
- Familiarity with mobile attribution and analytics tools, particularly AppsFlyer and Google Analytics 4.
- Exposure to app install campaigns and Apple Search Ads.
- Background in AI, video, or creative tools space.
Contract Details
- Type: Full-time contractor, longer term, potential conversion to permanent employment.
- Location: Los Angeles, San Francisco.
- Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience, target $6,000-$8,000/month.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Growth Marketing Specialist
Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. hiring managers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree in marketing or communications is accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. Attach your official transcripts and include a credential equivalency note in your application materials.
Target employers with prior LCA filing history
Search DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data to find companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for growth marketing roles. These employers already understand the E-3 process and are less likely to hesitate over sponsorship.
Clarify the specialty occupation requirement early
The E-3 requires your role to be a specialty occupation, meaning the job must normally require a degree in a specific field. Growth marketing roles tied to analytics, CRM platforms, or paid acquisition strategy qualify more cleanly than generalist coordinator titles.
Get your job offer letter drafted correctly
Your offer letter must state the specific role title, full-time employment, and the wage you'll be paid at or above DOL prevailing wage. Vague or conditional offers create problems at the consulate, so confirm these details before the LCA is filed.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork
The LCA must be certified by DOL before your consulate appointment, and your DS-160 and supporting documents must align precisely. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages every step from offer to consulate appointment so nothing is missing on interview day.
Prepare for specialty occupation questions at the consulate
Consular officers sometimes probe whether a growth marketing role genuinely requires a degree. Bring your job description, your degree certificate, and be ready to explain how your specific responsibilities, such as attribution modeling or funnel analysis, require field-specific education.

Find Growth Marketing Specialist JobsGrowth Marketing Specialist E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Growth Marketing Specialist jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Search on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles open to E-3 visa holders. Generic job boards don't filter by visa type, so you end up applying to roles where the employer has never considered sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces employers who are already open to the E-3 process, which cuts down wasted applications significantly.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Growth Marketing Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the role is defined. A growth marketing position that requires specific knowledge of performance analytics, marketing technology stacks, or data-driven acquisition strategy will generally qualify because the work normally requires a degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline. Generalist roles where any degree field is acceptable are more likely to face scrutiny from a consular officer.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Growth Marketing Specialist roles?
The E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never been exhausted, so there is no lottery and no random selection. The H-1B is capped at 85,000 and requires winning a lottery before you can even file. For Australian nationals in growth marketing, the E-3 is a more predictable path because your timeline depends on your employer's readiness and your consulate appointment, not on a random draw.
Can I switch growth marketing employers while on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but you cannot simply carry your existing E-3 to a new employer. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before or shortly after you start. There is no formal transfer mechanism, so the timing between roles matters. Many people coordinate the new LCA filing before resigning to avoid a gap in work authorization.
