Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Head Of Partnerships
Frame your degree as field-specific
Partnerships leadership roles must clear the specialty occupation bar, so your degree field matters. A business, marketing, or international relations degree maps cleanly to this role. A general arts degree may require a credential evaluation to demonstrate direct relevance.
Target companies with existing LCA history
Search the DOL's public Labor Condition Application disclosure data to identify employers who have previously filed LCAs for business development or partnerships titles. Prior filing history signals that their HR and legal teams already understand the E-3 process.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Head of Partnerships roles by E-3 visa sponsorship history. Most general job boards don't surface sponsorship intent, so searching a platform built around visa eligibility saves significant time in your outreach.
Clarify the LCA timeline before accepting an offer
Your employer must file the LCA with DOL and receive certification before you can attend your consulate interview. Standard DOL processing runs around seven business days. Build that window into your start date negotiation to avoid a delayed transition.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the paperwork
Head of Partnerships offers often move quickly once signed. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service handles the LCA submission, DS-160, and consulate preparation end-to-end, so you're not coordinating between your employer's HR team and immigration paperwork simultaneously.
Prepare a portfolio of cross-functional deliverables
Consular officers assessing specialty occupation look for evidence that the role requires degree-level expertise. Bring documented examples of partnership agreements, go-to-market strategies, or revenue-tied programs you've led to demonstrate the analytical and strategic depth the position demands.

Find Head Of Partnerships JobsHead Of Partnerships E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Head of Partnerships jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search Head of Partnerships roles filtered specifically by E-3 sponsorship. Most standard job boards don't distinguish between employers willing to sponsor visas and those that won't, which means you can spend weeks applying to roles where sponsorship isn't on the table. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with active sponsorship intent for Australian candidates.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Head of Partnerships role qualify as a specialty occupation for E-3 purposes?
Yes, provided the employer can demonstrate the role typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as business, marketing, international relations, or a comparable discipline. Roles that accept any degree or no degree at all are more vulnerable to challenge. The more the job description specifies analytical, strategic, or domain-specific responsibilities, the stronger the specialty occupation argument.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian professionals in partnerships roles?
The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and has no annual lottery, so there's no random selection risk. The H-1B is subject to an oversubscribed cap lottery that runs once per year in March. For a Head of Partnerships role with a firm offer in hand, the E-3 allows you to apply directly at a consulate and start within weeks rather than waiting up to a year for an H-1B cap slot.
Can I switch employers while working in the U.S. on an E-3 as a Head of Partnerships?
Yes, but the process starts fresh with each new employer. Your new employer must file a separate LCA with DOL covering the new role and wage, and you'll need to return to a consulate for a new E-3 stamp before starting unless you're changing status inside the U.S. through USCIS. Plan for at least a few weeks of lead time between offer acceptance and day one at the new company.
