In this role, you’ll work hands-on with large participant datasets, interpret group annuity contract provisions, and perform benefit calculations. You’ll support both the installation and ongoing administration of group annuity contracts, partnering closely with actuaries, technology teams, and service professionals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a high-quality client and participant experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze, reconcile, and validate large participant datasets to ensure alignment across actuarial, pricing, policy, and administrative systems.
- Perform complex benefit calculations, including lump sums, QDRO splits, benefit illustrations, and census-based premium adjustments.
- Interpret group annuity contract provisions and apply them accurately to benefit calculations and system configurations.
- Support the installation and conversion of group annuity contracts, including participant data setup and coordination with actuaries, IT, and operations partners.
- Participate in client and internal working sessions to track progress, identify data or calculation issues, and support timely resolution.
- Support service teams by addressing technical questions related to participant inquiries, claims, and death processing.
- Contribute to process improvements, system testing, and continuous enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across PRT installations and ongoing support.
- Take ownership of defined workstreams or components of larger projects, with guidance and review from more senior team members.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required; strong analytical and quantitative aptitude.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, actuarial support, financial operations, or a related analytical role — or a strong quantitative background with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and data reconciliation; familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data tools is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Interest in learning and applying the provisions of group annuity contracts and performing related mathematical calculations.
- Experience with defined benefit pension plans is a plus, but not required.
- A positive attitude, strong accountability, and sound judgment.
- Ability to work independently while remaining flexible and collaborative within a team environment.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting, partnering with experienced professionals across actuarial, technology, and service teams.

Frame your credentials for U.S. employers
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 visa purposes. Pair your transcript with a role-specific credential evaluation so hiring managers don't question your eligibility before you reach the offer stage.
Target companies with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications for project management roles. Prior LCA activity signals the employer already understands the E-3 process and won't stall at the sponsorship conversation.
Search verified E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Implementation Project Manager roles from employers with confirmed E-3 sponsorship history. Filtering by visa type from the start saves you from pursuing roles where sponsorship is theoretically possible but practically unlikely.
Clarify the specialty occupation tie-in early
Implementation Project Manager roles can face LCA scrutiny if the job description reads as generalist management rather than a technical specialty. Make sure your offer letter specifies the degree field required, not just a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting an offer
Your employer must be E-Verify enrolled to maintain E-3 compliance. Ask HR to confirm enrollment status before you accept, since onboarding delays caused by late E-Verify setup can push back your start date by weeks.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the LCA and consulate prep
Once you have an offer, Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service handles the LCA submission to DOL, visa paperwork, and consulate appointment preparation end-to-end, reducing the back-and-forth between you, your employer, and the consulate.
E-3 Visa Implementation Project Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Implementation Project Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists Implementation Project Manager roles from employers with active E-3 sponsorship history, so you're not cold-applying to companies that have never sponsored the visa. Filtering by role and visa type at the start of your search cuts out a significant amount of dead ends and lets you focus on employers already set up to move quickly.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Implementation Project Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as information technology, business administration, or engineering. The risk is a vaguely written job description that accepts any degree in any discipline. USCIS and DOL look for a direct connection between the degree field and the duties of the role, so the offer letter wording matters.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Implementation Project Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap that comes close to being exhausted, so you can apply at any time of year and expect a predictable outcome. The H-1B visa requires registration in a lottery with roughly a one-in-four selection rate for most applicants. For Australian nationals in project management, the E-3 is a significantly more reliable path to U.S. employment.
Can I change employers or projects while on an E-3 as a project manager?
You can change employers, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before re-entering the U.S. if you travel internationally after the job change. Internal transfers to a different project within the same company don't require a new filing, but a change in job title, duties, or worksite location often does.
