Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Major Account Executive
Frame your enterprise sales credentials for U.S. employers
Australian account executives often manage portfolios measured in different currency and market terms. Translate your revenue figures, client tiers, and territory scope into U.S. equivalents so hiring managers and USCIS adjudicators can directly assess your specialty occupation fit.
Target employers with established LCA filing history
Companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications before move faster at offer stage. Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for employers who have certified LCAs under sales or account management job titles to confirm they understand the E-3 process.
Clarify your degree field in the sponsorship conversation
E-3 requires a direct relationship between your degree and the role. A business or marketing degree typically satisfies the specialty occupation requirement for Major Account Executive positions, but flag this early so your employer's legal team doesn't delay the LCA filing.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your LCA and paperwork
Once you have an offer, Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service handles the LCA certification, visa application preparation, and consulate appointment process end-to-end, so neither you nor your employer needs prior E-3 experience to execute the filing correctly.
Negotiate visa filing support before signing your offer letter
Many enterprise sales employers in the U.S. have sponsored H-1B visas but haven't processed an E-3 before. Raise sponsorship explicitly during the offer stage and confirm the employer will cover filing fees, since the E-3 LCA must be certified before your consulate appointment.
Prepare a specialty occupation brief for your consulate interview
Consular officers assess whether your role genuinely requires a degree, not just prefers one. Bring documentation showing your target employer's minimum qualification requirement for the Major Account Executive position, ideally the official job description used in the LCA filing.

Find Major Account Executive JobsMajor Account Executive E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Major Account Executive jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists Major Account Executive roles from employers who are open to E-3 sponsorship, filtering out postings that require existing U.S. work authorization. Standard job boards surface thousands of results with no indication of sponsorship willingness, so searching a platform built specifically for Australian E-3 candidates saves significant time and targets the right employers from the start.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Major Account Executive role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3 visa?
Yes, provided the employer's job description requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications, and the role's duties reflect that requirement. Where companies post these positions with 'degree preferred' rather than 'degree required,' the specialty occupation argument weakens, so review the LCA job description carefully before proceeding.
How does the E-3 visa compare to H-1B for Australian sales professionals?
The E-3 has a dedicated annual allocation of 10,500 visas that has never been exhausted, so there is no lottery and no random selection risk. H-1B registrations are capped at 85,000 and oversubscribed by several times that number each year. For an Australian Major Account Executive, the E-3 is a direct, predictable path that can be initiated as soon as an employer extends an offer.
Can I change employers or move between enterprise accounts on an E-3 visa?
Changing employers requires a new LCA and, in most cases, a new visa stamp from an Australian consulate. Your status does not transfer automatically from one company to another. If you are already in the U.S. on a current E-3, you can typically continue working for a short period while the new employer's LCA is certified, but confirm the timing with whoever handles the filing.
