Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Senior Director Of Marketing
Translate your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
Your three-year Australian bachelor's degree is accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. Prepare a credential evaluation if your degree title doesn't map clearly to marketing or business, since consular officers will assess the field match.
Target employers with existing E-3 filing history
Search DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data to identify companies that have filed LCAs for marketing leadership roles. Employers familiar with the E-3 process move faster and are less likely to stall on sponsorship after extending an offer.
Ensure your offer letter specifies a specialty occupation
Your job offer must describe duties that require a bachelor's degree in a specific field, not just any degree. Vague titles like 'Marketing Lead' with generalist responsibilities can complicate LCA approval, so work with your employer to include degree-specific language in the offer.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to manage the LCA
The LCA must be certified by the DOL before your visa interview, and the filing requires prevailing wage documentation tied to your role and location. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so nothing delays your consulate appointment.
Verify your I-94 status before applying from inside the U.S.
If you're already in the U.S. on another visa status and changing to E-3, USCIS processes your change of status separately from consular processing. Confirm your current I-94 expiry and authorized stay period before your employer files, since an overstay disqualifies you from in-country status changes.

Find Senior Director Of Marketing JobsSenior Director Of Marketing E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find Senior Director of Marketing jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. It filters for employers familiar with the E-3 visa so you're not wasting time on companies that only know the H-1B process. Senior marketing leadership roles appear across technology, consumer brands, and professional services sectors.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Senior Director of Marketing role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as marketing, communications, or business administration. The specialty occupation requirement is met when the position's core duties are theoretically and practically tied to that degree field. Generalist executive roles with no degree-field specificity can face scrutiny, so the job description matters.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Senior Director of Marketing roles?
The E-3 has a 10,500 annual cap that has never been reached, so there's no lottery and no random selection. The H-1B requires employer registration, a lottery draw, and months of waiting before you can even file. For a Senior Director of Marketing role, the E-3 gives your employer a predictable, straightforward sponsorship path with no registration fees and no timing risk.
Can I switch employers while on an E-3 as a Senior Director of Marketing?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before re-entering the U.S., or a change of status approval if you're already inside the country. You can start working for the new employer once the LCA is certified and your status is properly transferred. There's no portability provision equivalent to the H-1B's AC21 rule.
