Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Marketing Account Manager
Frame your Australian degree for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's in marketing, communications, or business satisfies the E-3 visa specialty occupation requirement. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator so hiring managers and DOL reviewers see an immediate equivalency to a U.S. four-year degree.
Target agencies with active LCA filing history
Integrated agencies, holding companies, and large in-house marketing teams file LCAs regularly and already understand the process. Search DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data to confirm an employer has sponsored specialty occupation roles before approaching them.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers
Searching for Marketing Account Manager roles that explicitly offer E-3 visa sponsorship is difficult on general job boards. Migrate Mate filters for employers with active E-3 sponsorship history so you spend time on applications that can actually move forward.
Clarify client-facing travel in your offer letter
Account Manager roles often involve travel to client sites. Your offer letter should specify your primary worksite address because the LCA is tied to that location. If your employer has multiple offices, confirm with HR which address appears on the certified LCA before your consulate appointment.
Have your employer file the LCA before you resign
The DOL must certify the Labor Condition Application before you can apply for your E-3 at an Australian consulate. Standard LCA certification takes around seven business days, but confirm your employer has submitted it through FLAG.dol.gov before you give notice at your current job.
Streamline filing with end-to-end professional support
E-3 paperwork errors, including mismatched job titles or incorrect SOC codes for account management roles, are a common cause of consulate delays. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so your application reaches the consulate correctly the first time.
E-3 Visa Marketing Account Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Marketing Account Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
General job boards rarely filter by visa type, so most E-3 candidates waste time on roles where sponsorship was never on the table. Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search: it surfaces Marketing Account Manager openings at employers with documented E-3 sponsorship history, so every application you send is to a company already set up to hire Australian professionals.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Marketing Account Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as marketing, communications, advertising, or business. The key is that the role must not be open to any degree holder regardless of field. Job descriptions that list a marketing or business degree as a specific requirement, not merely a preference, consistently support E-3 specialty occupation approval.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Marketing Account Manager roles?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens, but for those who qualify it is far more practical than the H-1B visa. There is no annual lottery, no random selection process, and the 10,500 annual cap has never been reached. You can apply directly at an Australian consulate once your employer has a certified LCA, with no petition filing required at USCIS and no multi-month wait for a registration window.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3?
You can change employers, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you must obtain a new E-3 visa or an amended status before starting work with them. Internal promotions that change your job title or duties significantly also require an amended LCA. Plan the transition carefully so you are not working during any gap between your old and new authorizations.
