Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Marketing And Events Coordinator
Frame your portfolio for U.S. event formats
U.S. hiring managers look for experience with large-scale trade shows, corporate activations, and multi-channel campaigns. Reframe your Australian case studies around budget ownership, vendor coordination, and attendance metrics to match what U.S. employers expect.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for marketing roles before understand the E-3 process. Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for employers listing marketing or events coordinator job titles to build a shortlist of sponsorship-ready targets.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Marketing and Events Coordinator jobs filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship. The platform surfaces employers already familiar with the E-3, saving you from cold outreach to companies who've never heard of Australian-specific visa requirements.
Confirm your degree field supports specialty occupation
The E-3 requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation. A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or event management typically satisfies this, but a general arts degree without relevant coursework can trigger questions at the consulate.
Get your LCA filed before booking your consulate appointment
Your employer must obtain a certified LCA from the DOL before you can apply for your visa. This step takes up to seven business days, so use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork and avoid delays that push back your start date.
Negotiate your start date around consulate wait times
E-3 consulate appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth varies by season. Build at least four to six weeks of lead time into your offer negotiation so your employer isn't waiting on a visa appointment that runs longer than expected.

Find Marketing And Events Coordinator JobsMarketing And Events Coordinator E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Marketing and Events Coordinator jobs with E-3 sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles that include E-3 visa sponsorship. Rather than filtering through generic job boards, you can search by role and visa type to find employers who already understand the E-3 and are prepared to file the required paperwork.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Marketing and Events Coordinator role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, in most cases. The role qualifies when the employer requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as marketing, communications, or event management as a genuine condition of the job. If the job posting says a degree is preferred but not required, the specialty occupation standard may not be met, which can create problems at the consulate interview.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Marketing and Events Coordinator roles?
The E-3 is available year-round and has no lottery, while the H-1B is capped at 85,000 per year and requires a random selection process. For Marketing and Events Coordinator roles, this means an Australian professional can apply as soon as they have a job offer and a certified LCA, without waiting for an annual lottery result or a specific filing window.
Can I switch Marketing and Events Coordinator employers while on an E-3?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need an updated visa if your current stamp has expired. If you're already inside the U.S., you can begin working for the new employer once the new LCA is certified and you have a valid E-3 visa that covers the new role, provided the job duties still meet the specialty occupation standard.
