INTRODUCTION
Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn’t work together.
So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we’ve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.
Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Sales Training Manager
Frame your credentials for U.S. specialty occupation
Your Australian bachelor's degree is accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree, but your transcripts must clearly show the field of study. A credential evaluation confirming this equivalency removes friction during the DOL's LCA review process.
Target employers with dedicated learning functions
Mid-to-large companies with formal L&D departments file LCAs far more routinely than small businesses. Search for Sales Enablement Manager or Training Director postings at enterprise-level employers, where sponsorship infrastructure already exists.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your LCA
The LCA must be certified by the DOL before your consulate appointment can be scheduled. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so the process doesn't stall between offer acceptance and your start date.
Clarify the E-3 employer cost before negotiating
Your employer covers the LCA filing and I-129 petition costs. Raising sponsorship early, and confirming the employer understands these are standard costs rather than legal risks, prevents offers from stalling when HR escalates to legal counsel.
Get your offer letter to match the LCA job description
The DOL compares your offer letter to the LCA's stated duties and minimum requirements. If your title is Sales Training Manager but the letter describes general HR functions, the LCA can be flagged. Align both documents before submission.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions at the consulate
Sales Training Manager roles attract scrutiny because they're senior enough to suggest long-term intent. Have clear, consistent answers about your Australian ties and your reason for working in the U.S. specifically under a temporary E-3 classification.

Find Sales Training Manager JobsSales Training Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Sales Training Manager jobs with E-3 sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. Rather than manually filtering generic job boards, you can search Sales Training Manager positions from employers with active LCA filing history, which signals genuine sponsorship willingness rather than a vague "visa sponsorship available" checkbox.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Sales Training Manager role qualify as an E-3 specialty occupation?
Yes, provided the employer's position requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, organizational development, education, or a related discipline. If the job description accepts any degree or substitutes years of experience in place of a degree requirement entirely, the specialty occupation standard may not be met and the LCA could be challenged.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Sales Training Manager roles?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens but has no annual lottery and no cap pressure, so you can apply at any point in the year once you have an offer. The H-1B requires entering a random lottery in March for an October start date. For Sales Training Managers with a qualifying Australian degree, the E-3 is a faster, more predictable path to U.S. employment.
Can I change employers on an E-3 while working as a Sales Training Manager?
Yes, but the E-3 is employer-specific, so your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new visa stamp before starting work with them if you're outside the U.S. If you're already inside the U.S., a change of employer on E-3 status requires the new LCA to be certified before your start date with the new company.
