Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Marketing Operations Manager
Frame your degree as specialty-occupation evidence
U.S. employers need to confirm your role meets the specialty occupation standard. A three-year Australian bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or information systems is generally accepted as equivalent to a four-year U.S. degree when your credential evaluation supports it.
Target martech-heavy companies with LCA history
Search DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway for employers who've filed Labor Condition Applications for marketing or operations roles. Companies already running LCA filings understand the E-3 process and won't stall at the sponsorship conversation.
Clarify the E-3 advantage before the offer stage
Many U.S. hiring managers conflate E-3 with H-1B and assume a lottery is involved. Raise the distinction early: the E-3 has no cap lottery, processes at a consulate rather than through USCIS petition review, and typically takes two to four weeks from offer to visa stamp.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for LCA and paperwork
Once you have a written offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This is especially useful for Marketing Operations roles where the specialty occupation framing in the LCA needs to reflect your specific systems and degree requirements accurately.
Align your resume to U.S. martech stack expectations
U.S. employers screening for Marketing Operations Managers prioritize platform fluency: Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar. Structure your resume around specific tools, data pipelines, and revenue attribution work rather than campaign management generalities to pass both ATS filters and specialty occupation scrutiny.
Confirm your E-3 status covers your full role scope
If your Marketing Operations role crosses into data analytics or revenue operations, confirm the job description your employer submits to DOL reflects your actual duties. A mismatch between your visa's listed occupation and your day-to-day work can create compliance issues at renewal.

Find Marketing Operations Manager JobsMarketing Operations Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Marketing Operations Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Marketing Operations Manager roles at U.S. employers who have a track record of E-3 and LCA filings, so you're not cold-applying to companies that have never sponsored an Australian before. You can filter by role, location, and industry to find positions where sponsorship is already on the table.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Marketing Operations Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as marketing, business administration, information systems, or communications. The key is that the degree must be a standard entry requirement for the role, not just preferred. If the job description says 'bachelor's preferred,' your employer may need to strengthen the language before filing the Labor Condition Application with DOL.
How does the E-3 visa compare to H-1B for Marketing Operations Manager roles?
For Australian professionals, the E-3 is significantly more accessible. There's no annual cap lottery, no April registration window, and no six-month wait. You can apply at a U.S. consulate after your employer's LCA is certified, which typically takes two to four weeks from offer. The H-1B involves a lottery with roughly a 25 to 30 percent selection rate and processing times that can stretch beyond a year.
Can I switch employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as a Marketing Operations Manager?
Yes to both, but each requires a new or amended LCA. If you change employers, your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp, which means a consulate appointment. A promotion that changes your title, salary, or core duties significantly may also require an amended LCA to keep your status compliant at renewal.
