Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Neurology Sales Specialist
Credential your degree for specialty occupation
Neurology sales roles must meet the DOL's specialty occupation standard. A three-year Australian bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a health-related business field typically satisfies this, but get a credential evaluation ready before employer conversations start.
Target medical device and CNS pharma employers
Focus on employers with active DOL Labor Condition Application filings in neurology or pharmaceutical sales. Companies commercializing CNS drugs or neurology diagnostics file LCAs regularly and understand the E-3 process better than general sales employers.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
Ask specifically whether the employer will cover LCA filing and consulate preparation, not just the job offer letter. Some smaller biotech employers agree to sponsor but expect you to manage the DOL and visa paperwork independently.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for LCA and consulate prep
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA submission to the DOL and prepare your consulate application. This keeps the process on track without relying on your employer's HR team to navigate unfamiliar territory.
Address the specialty occupation question proactively
Neurology sales roles occasionally face USCIS scrutiny over whether a degree is genuinely required. Prepare a concise written explanation linking your specific neurological product knowledge to why a relevant bachelor's degree is a standard industry requirement for the role.
Time your consulate appointment around your start date
The LCA must be certified by the DOL before you can schedule your consulate interview. Build at least three to four weeks of buffer between your offer acceptance and your intended start date to allow for LCA processing and appointment availability.

How do I find Neurology Sales Specialist jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search for Neurology Sales Specialist roles filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with active LCA filing history in pharmaceutical and medical device sales, so you're targeting companies already familiar with the E-3 process rather than educating employers from scratch.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Neurology Sales Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, if the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as life sciences, pharmacy, neuroscience, or a closely related discipline. Roles requiring broad sales experience without a field-specific degree requirement are harder to qualify. The stronger the link between your degree and the neurological products you'll sell, the cleaner the specialty occupation argument.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Neurology Sales Specialist roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap on approvals, so you can apply any time of year as soon as you have a job offer and a certified LCA. The H-1B requires winning a random lottery draw, with results typically in March for an October start. For Australian nationals in neurology sales, the E-3 is a far more predictable path to a U.S. work start date.
Can my E-3 visa be sponsored by a small biotech or startup employer?
Yes. Employer size doesn't affect E-3 eligibility. What matters is that the employer can demonstrate the role is a genuine specialty occupation and pay the DOL-certified prevailing wage for the position and location. Smaller employers may be less experienced with LCA filings, so confirming they'll support the full process, or handling it through a filing service, is worth doing before you accept the offer.
