Falck Rocky Mountain is now hiring for Paramedics! Falck provides a family-like environment while being part of a global company.
We respond to over 42,000 calls each year, and the majority of our responses are 911 calls with the City of Aurora and Buckley Air Force Base. Our partners with Aurora Fire Rescue ride in on approximately 25% of our 911 transports. Come join the team that outperforms both State of Colorado and U.S. averages on cardiac arrest resuscitation. With our partners, Falck continues to lead in neurologic survivability of patients who have a cardiac arrest event. Survivability increased from 18% in 2019 to 24% in 2021, and we hope to continue this trend as we strive for excellence in our application of evidence-based medicine.
We are advancing the practice of EMS by being one of only 184 ET3 (Emergency triage, treatment, and transport) ambulance providers in the nation as selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Through this program, we deliver telehealth and alternate destination capabilities for our patients. We are one of six ambulance services in Colorado accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS).
We provide in-house peer support with clinical oversight, monthly paid CEs, a 6% 401 (k) match, robust medical/dental/vision plans, and free access to an online learning platform.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Paramedic
Verify your state paramedic license early
Each U.S. state sets its own paramedic certification requirements, and many don't automatically recognize Australian qualifications. Contact your target state's EMS licensing board before applying so credential gaps don't delay your offer or LCA filing.
Document your clinical degree for specialty occupation
The E-3 requires a specialty occupation, meaning the role must normally require at least a bachelor's degree. Gather your Australian paramedicine degree transcripts and a credential evaluation confirming U.S. equivalency before approaching employers.
Target hospital systems over private ambulance services
Hospital-based EMS programs and academic medical centers are more familiar with work visa sponsorship than private ambulance contractors. Search for flight paramedic and critical care transport roles at large health systems, where HR teams regularly handle LCA filings.
Find E-3 sponsoring employers through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to search paramedic roles filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the entire process from offer to consulate appointment, so you and your employer aren't navigating DOL LCA requirements from scratch.
Clarify sponsorship scope during salary negotiation
The LCA locks in the prevailing wage DOL certifies for your role and location. Confirm with your employer before signing that their offer meets or exceeds that wage, since underpaying a certified LCA position is a compliance violation that can void your visa.
Prepare nonimmigrant intent evidence for your consulate interview
Australian consular officers assess whether you intend to return home after your E-3 period. Bring evidence of Australian ties such as property ownership, family connections, or superannuation contributions to support your nonimmigrant status at the interview.

Find Paramedic JobsParamedic E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find paramedic jobs in the U.S. that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search for paramedic roles specifically filtered for E-3 visa sponsorship. Most general job searches don't surface employers familiar with E-3 requirements. Migrate Mate connects Australian paramedics with U.S. employers who have already indicated willingness to support the LCA filing and visa process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a paramedic role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3 visa?
It depends on how the employer defines the position. A role titled paramedic or critical care transport paramedic qualifies if the employer can show the job normally requires a bachelor's degree in paramedicine or a related clinical field. Roles where any emergency medical background satisfies the requirement, regardless of degree level, may not meet the specialty occupation threshold. A degree-specific job description strengthens the case.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian paramedics?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens and has no annual cap or lottery, so you can apply year-round once you have a job offer and a certified LCA. The H-1B has an 85,000-slot annual cap with a randomized lottery, meaning most applicants aren't selected. For Australian paramedics, the E-3 is the practical path since H-1B selection is largely outside your control.
Can I switch paramedic employers after I arrive on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but your E-3 status is tied to the specific employer on your visa. To change employers, your new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp, which typically requires returning to Australia for a consulate appointment. You can work for the new employer only after USCIS or the consulate issues updated authorization.
