Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Partnerships Coordinator
Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. Get a credential evaluation letter ready before outreach so hiring managers can confirm specialty occupation eligibility without delays.
Target employers with existing partnership or BD teams
Companies that already run structured partnerships programs are far more likely to understand sponsorship logistics. Search DOL LCA disclosure data to identify U.S. employers who have filed for similar business development or partnerships roles before.
Clarify the specialty occupation fit in your application
Partnerships Coordinator roles can be misclassified as general administrative work. Your application materials should explicitly connect your degree field to the technical or strategic nature of the role to satisfy E-3 specialty occupation requirements.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after receiving an offer
Once you have a signed offer letter, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end, from DOL certification through consulate appointment preparation, so nothing stalls between offer and start date.
Confirm LCA wage level before negotiating your package
Your employer's LCA must certify a prevailing wage at or above the DOL wage level for your role and location. Check the DOL FLAG portal for the applicable wage tier before finalizing salary negotiations to avoid an LCA amendment later.
Plan your consulate appointment around your start date
Australian consulates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth process E-3 applications, but appointment availability varies by location and time of year. Book your interview slot as soon as your LCA is certified so visa processing doesn't push back your start date.

Find Partnerships Coordinator JobsPartnerships Coordinator E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Partnerships Coordinator jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for Partnerships Coordinator roles where the employer is open to E-3 sponsorship. Because the E-3 requires employer-filed LCA documentation, targeting companies already familiar with the process saves significant time. Migrate Mate surfaces roles matched to E-3 eligibility so you're not filtering manually through listings that exclude visa candidates.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Partnerships Coordinator role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the role is defined. Partnerships Coordinator positions that require a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business development, marketing, communications, or a related discipline will generally qualify. Roles framed as general coordination or administrative support without a specific degree requirement are harder to defend as specialty occupations. The job description and your credential alignment both matter when the consular officer reviews the application.
How does the E-3 compare to H-1B for Australian Partnerships Coordinators?
The E-3 is significantly more accessible for this role. The H-1B has an annual cap of 85,000 visas and a randomized lottery, meaning a qualifying candidate may not be selected. The E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation reserved exclusively for Australian nationals that has never been exhausted, so there is no lottery and no cap risk. Your employer also avoids the H-1B registration fee and lottery timeline, which makes sponsorship a less complicated ask.
Can I switch employers while on an E-3 as a Partnerships Coordinator?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp reflecting the new employer before you can start. You can't port your existing E-3 to a new company the way some other visa categories allow. If you're already in the U.S., timing the transition carefully and avoiding a gap in authorized employment is essential to maintaining lawful status.
