E-3 Visa Product Management Specialist Jobs
Product Management Specialist roles qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Australian nationals can secure two-year E-3 status with no lottery, making U.S. product roles more accessible than the H-1B path.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Product Management Specialist
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
Your Australian bachelor's degree qualifies under E-3, but you need to show it's directly relevant to product management. A three-year Australian degree is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree, so document the field of study clearly on your resume and any credential evaluations.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for product management roles. Employers already familiar with LCA certification move faster and are less likely to withdraw sponsorship over unfamiliarity with the E-3 process.
Address E-3 specifics early in offer negotiations
When an employer expresses intent to hire, confirm they'll sponsor an E-3 before your job title is finalized. The job title on your LCA must reflect a genuine specialty occupation, so vague titles like 'Product Generalist' can create problems at the consulate.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for LCA and consulate prep
The LCA must be certified by DOL before you can book your consulate appointment. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so nothing stalls between offer acceptance and your interview date in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth.
Verify your employer's E-Verify enrollment status
Some product management roles sit within federal contractor organizations that require E-Verify enrollment. Confirming your employer's status before the offer stage prevents delays if a STEM designation or federal project requirement surfaces after you've accepted.
Prepare documentation showing specialty occupation eligibility
Consular officers assess whether your role genuinely requires a relevant degree. Bring your employer's job description, your Australian degree transcripts, and any certifications like Pragmatic Institute or Certified Scrum Product Owner credentials that reinforce the technical and analytical nature of the role.

Find Product Management Specialist JobsProduct Management Specialist E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Product Management Specialist jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search U.S. product management roles filtered specifically for E-3 visa sponsorship, showing employers with active LCA filing history for the role. Standard job searches won't surface sponsorship willingness, so filtering by verified E-3 sponsors saves significant time compared to cold outreach or generic job boards.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Product Management Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3 visa?
Yes, provided the role genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as business, engineering, computer science, or information systems. Roles where the employer lists a degree as 'preferred' rather than 'required' can cause problems at the consulate, so confirm the job description explicitly states a degree requirement before filing the LCA.
How does the E-3 visa compare to H-1B for Product Management Specialist roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap backlog for Australians, so you can time your start date to align with when you receive your job offer rather than waiting up to a year for an H-1B slot. The application goes through a U.S. consulate in Australia, typically resolving within a few weeks, whereas H-1B petitions require USCIS adjudication that can take months even with premium processing.
Can I switch product management employers while on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but your E-3 status is tied to a specific employer and role. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp, which typically means returning to Australia for a consulate appointment unless you're eligible for a change of status with USCIS. Plan for a gap between your last day and your new start date to allow LCA certification time.
