E-3 Visa Product Specialist Jobs
Product Specialist roles qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or engineering. Australian nationals can secure two-year E-3 status with no lottery and renew it indefinitely, making this one of the most reliable paths into U.S. product roles.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Product Specialist
Align your degree to the role description
Consular officers assess whether your qualification directly supports the Product Specialist position. A degree in business, engineering, or a technical field strengthens your case far more than a general arts credential, even with years of product experience.
Search employers with active LCA filing history
Use DOL's public Labor Condition Application disclosure data to identify companies that have sponsored specialty occupation roles before. Employers familiar with the LCA process move faster and are less likely to stall at the sponsorship conversation.
Frame sponsorship as a process, not a burden
When raising the E-3 visa with a hiring manager, position it as a straightforward employer certification rather than immigration sponsorship. The LCA takes around seven business days with DOL, and you handle the consulate appointment yourself.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for offer-to-visa execution
Once you have a written offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end to end. This reduces back-and-forth with HR teams unfamiliar with the E-3 and gets your consulate documents prepared correctly the first time.
Confirm your employer is E-Verify enrolled before accepting
Some Product Specialist roles at startups and smaller tech companies are with employers not yet enrolled in E-Verify. That doesn't block E-3 approval, but it's worth confirming during the offer stage so onboarding isn't delayed by last-minute compliance setup.
Prepare a credential equivalency statement if your degree is three years
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted for E-3 purposes, but a short written equivalency statement from a USCIS-recognised credential evaluation service removes any consular uncertainty about your qualification before the interview.
E-3 Visa Product Specialist: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Product Specialist jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Product Specialist roles at employers with a history of E-3 and specialty occupation filings, so you're not cold-applying to companies that have never dealt with visa sponsorship. Filter by role and location to see active opportunities matched to Australian E-3 eligibility.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Product Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline. The key is that the degree requirement must be tied to the role, not optional. If a job posting says 'bachelor's preferred' rather than 'required,' that can weaken the specialty occupation argument at the consulate.
How does the E-3 visa compare to the H-1B for Product Specialist roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap backlog, so you can time your start date around an actual job offer rather than waiting on a random selection. The H-1B visa caps out at 85,000 slots per year and runs a lottery in March, meaning a qualifying offer doesn't guarantee approval. For Australian nationals in product roles, the E-3 is the more predictable path.
Can I switch Product Specialist employers while on an E-3 visa?
Yes. E-3 status is employer-specific, so changing roles requires a new LCA filed by your new employer and a new visa stamp if yours has expired. If your current E-3 stamp is still valid and you're changing employers before it expires, you can start with the new employer once the new LCA is certified, without leaving the country.
